It’s time for Philadelphia to... GET SICK!
POSITIVELY SICK ON SOUTH STREET (the namesake taking inspiration from two opposite yet seemingly symmetrical ends of the Rock 'N' Roll gene pool--Bob Dylan and The Humpers, along with a good dose of Philly attytood) is a new monthly event that celebrates everything great about Rock 'N' Roll.
Hosted at Tritone , the night will focus on the best Garage Rock, Punk Rock, Power Pop, and just straight up Rock 'N' Fuckin' Roll in the City of Bother & Loathe.
NO INDIE-ROCK WHATSOEVER!
Each event will focus on new and established local bands, as well as great out-of-town and touring acts, and we may even throw in a guest DJ now and again (but don't be mistaken, this is NOT another lame DJ nite... the focus here is on LIVE MUSIC!).
ALWAYS a low door cost, cheap drinks, giveaways, and other surprises!
