He has the talent 2 emulate any melodic voice he heard growing up. He came up in a family of prestigious musicians and felt that doing music was a common thing 2 everyone. Traveling back & forth between New York & England, his musical taste had become very wide and he always was the one to lead the local church, school, groups of friends in the song of the day. In high school, he demonstrated his impromptu musical talents repeatedly in a jazz band, chorus and on the rock ensemble. He formalized his musical knowledge, by attending Trinity College of Music in London. There he formed many pop oriented bands in which he was at the forefront. Returning back home was always like stepping backward for “The C.H.I.N.A,†where he would just become basic old Richard known in the New York Underground as "Richie Melody," who at the time was popular in the Reggae & Hip-Hop world. He went 2 school for recording/engineering and then left the very highly popular Center for Media Arts with honors. Now with productional skills under his belt, he was more equipped to do big sessions in any facility since he was the only student at the center who would be artist producer & engineer. “The C.H.I.N.A†has since, done many recordings with different artist. Both producing and being featured, had production deals, appeared in numerous music videos, hosted many open mic shows of all genres, developed as an artist, became more humble 2 the biz, learned a greater love and respect 4 the game . He also has mastered the bass, adding 2 the list of instruments. “The C.H.I.N.A†is a true artist. The fact that he is a profound photographer says a lot for the way he sees things. His son who just turned eight years old, raps, sings and plays the heck out of some drums. Being a single dad, The C.H.I.N.A exposes all of his musical attributes to his son Delaun also know as ("lil crise") "the golden child." He is definitely a trendsetter, an unordinary uncommon spirit and embodies the form of the world thru the music he creates. He has been called "baby prince" the "new sly" & "the ghetto stevie." He needs a vehicle for his music and an outlet 2 the masses with the right company. “The C.H.I.N.A†would be and is planning to be an essential asset to the music industry.LIL CRISE BIO:
Born into a family of musicians this young wonderkin showed early signs of rhythm, I knew I saw greatness when my nephew (my web site http://www.panonthenet.com/woman/2005/Albino-deCoteau.htm)wa
s able to bang out the rhythmic pattern of any song emanating from the radio on his feeding tray, As a matter of fact the only reason the child would cry was when the radio was turned off .I remember his dad would sit him down on his lap at some of his rehearsals when his current gig was the drummer, he’d even make him play the hi hats while he was playing the pedals .Delaun(lil Crise) once said to me"Daddy would drive me crazy with music but im glad he gave me lessons on all the instruments, it helps alot when i do my new Tracks" . Being that his father owns a recording studio in the heart of Brooklyn, where artist are predominantly Rappers, Delaun (Lil CRISE) would ultimately fall under that blanket. His Dad when he finally considered the Pro’s & Con’s of the Biz,wanted initially to have someone write for him and even though he(Lil CRISE) told him he can do it himself he went ahead and Got A local hood star to write 2 songs for him his name was Bells.. aka J2 The R.The 2 songs, "4 The Block" & "Spitting it right" ) were great and every one was exited but when He Lil CRISE bought out his Rap Book/ book of rhymes that he had been secretly working on He (Lil Crise) brought more Himself to the table and of course the ghost writer wouldn’t be needed any more,Crise would go on to write8 songs in total in 3 weeks. On the way to work one day some one told his Dad that since his son (Lil CRISE) was so musical he should put him on the "America’sMost talented Kid" Tv show .. they went & of course to the audition but a blue eyed lil White Kid that sang country beat out delaun aka Lil Crise even though Crise rapped ,played his steel drum(steel pan)two songs , danced did splits well u get the idea..His dad however hooked up with a lady named donna steven at event who then recomended that Crise go to abrams artist 646 486 4600 bonnie shumofsky att tuskania c/o abrams artists 275 7th ave 26th floor ny ny 10001 And present him to her being that she found Delaub(Lil CRISE to be so attractive she said to his Dad " or she will Definitly take him he so cuuuute" .. so with hopes in their hearts the prepared to deliver it in person his headshots which cost wayyyy to much than they were suppose to & worked on two more songs partly written by his dad but Mostly By Delaun aka Lil CRISE .. .the day was Febuary 7th Crise’s BIRTHDAY all dressed up . & happy they took the Cd ,Pictures up to the office & saw a thin black girl as the recp. asked for the lady to whom they were refered & was refused a visit. nevertheless the left the package... they never heard a word.. a friend heard the songs However that Crise Had made & said do 4 more songs & he would sell it in his beauty supply store accross the street His dad had nothing to lose so the put 10 units in the store & within that day they were sold off.. sounds good right .. Hang On.. just when they seemed to have found a way 2 distribute the guy went BUST , had to sell his store..when His dad spoke to the Guy , his suggetion was "Yo God Sell the units ya self" His Dad @ 1st thought the idea to be far fetched ..He took the 8 song C.D to BURT PADEL .. whose assistant was Trevor Baptist who then said he(Lil Crise was too young for the game,& that there was no market for his type of rap (CLEAN) & that kids dont buy albums .. e.t.c " ha" he exclaimed" if bow wow and Romeo could do it, was the world really ready for me" They took the album to the streets songs included his child hood school friends also & so other hood stars The result was the toyBox..

Here’s his Bio... ALDWIN ALBINO Pan Player, Arranger Aldwyn Albino, the first child born in the musical family of the Albinos of Success Village, Laventille, was given a well rounded education. He began music with both parents who were musicians in their own right. At age twelve he took lessons, together with his sister Merle, from the village music teacher Rita Daniel; but he was never satisfied with playing only the five finger exercises and little tunes. After some doing, he convinced his parents that he wanted a crash course in playing by ear and went to Dawlet Ahyee [ensemble] for about three months. From there it was no turning back. He would play any song he heard on the radio. He started playing the organ in St Dominic’s Church, Morvant, as his sister Merle was playing in the village Church, Corpus Christi, Laventille. Aldwyn was always restless and went to explore, so he began frequenting steelband yards. He began arranging for City Symphony, where he got the opportunity to arrange his favourite tune Dream of Aldwyn. At this time; Aldwyn arranged for orchestras such as Norman "Tex" Williams and later, Joe Chet Sampson. He then turned to transfer his knowledge to the youth. He was organist at the Assumption Church, Maraval, which then led him to form a choir with children from Bossiere RC School. When he taught at Calvary RC, he got pans from Angostura and had the first school steelband which performed at the Rosary Church in Port of Spain, in November 1968, with selections such as Kyrie Elesion, Sanctus, Agnus Dei and Zacchaeus; with the choir from the same school accompanying their school master. Aldwyn was the resident pianist for Scouting for Talent for many years and for Ricki Tikki, the children’s show, [billed] on Trinidad and Tobago Television (TTT).
