An Introduction
Let me introduce myself. I am Maria Walls; i was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1980. I was fortunate enough to study in a safe and happy environment, in which education was easily accessible. However, i took a year off before i started college. In many of the places i went, i was appalled by the education standards, and i saw how eager students were to learn.
However, this is with one exception, the UK. I was shocked by the ignorance i saw around me. I knew, as an 'American', with all the stereotypes, it would only work against me criticizing what i saw. When i came back to the US to study at NYU (New York University), i knew what i wanted to study (may sound strange to you now), politics. I wanted to shape the world in a positive way, helping all countries to get together to abolish the evil of 'ignorance'. However, after only a few years of fighting in the front line of politics, i saw the modern day hypocrisy and suffered countless offences of sexism, which is something i never thought i would find in the 'democracy' of the United States of America.
And so, i moved on to set up The D Project, a branch of the respectable Rehtorben Balsha. I, along with three of my colleagues, work to save the intelligence in this world we live in, because intelligence is the key. I believe we need to work at the root to solve the problem. I work in the US, UK and whole of the world, based from my humble office in New York.
