I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Just a young guy trying to figure out where he wants to be, and hoping that it is also where God wants me. :P Currently attending University, in the Religious Studies department... planning on pursuing Broadcasting in college afterwards... I think...Very involved in Christian music: Radio host for a new rock Christian show called "Over the Edge" on a few different radio stations. (Check on the left to listen on the web). Bass player for the band Critical Mass (www.catholicrock.com). I write music... when I don't have writer's block. I spend way too much time searching for Christian artist news on the web... which is how I got started here on myspace.I am a family guy, and am blessed with a loving family who encourages me... a rare thing these days.

My Interests

Christian music is a big one... I play bass for the band Critical Mass (www.catholicrock.com), and DJ a Christian radio show "Over the Edge." Check us out Sunday nights at 10pm EST online at www.faithfm.org

I'd like to meet:

I have created this as a result of midnight searches for new music and new bands to feature on my show. If you have an Indie band and are looking for airtime, hook me up - but I play music that isn't destructive. I would say I am looking for "Christian" music, but that can be limiting too. Be real, and encourage those younger and less solid than ourselves to be the same, and you will have my attention, happily. There is plenty of less-than-desirable (we're talking lyrical content here, not music quality) music out there... if you have something different you want to share with the world, I'm listening. That being said... I'm insanely attracted to networking with people. I keep emails of people I haven't spoken to in years... just in case. To me, every connection is a beautiful oppurunity. As trivial as an email address, an MSN contact, or a MySpace friend may seem, it is the unobserved and the perpetually ignored that are at most risk of underestimating their worth to the world. Talk to those around you, listen, and shine. It is part of who you are supposed to be.

Music:

Thousand Foot Krutch, Switchfoot, Superchic[k], Anberlin, Sanctus Real, DC Talk, Hello Kelly, Grits... all Chrstian artists in there, my music food of choice. Some other notable bands that I dig cause of their style, or because they just know how to rock: Linkin Park, Enter the Haggis, Moxy Fruvous, Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace...

Movies:

Television:

Currently hooked on "24" more then I would like to admit. Starting from the beginning of the series, currently in season 5. Also watch "Scrubs" when I can. Previously hooked on: "Joan of Arcadia"... a (now cancelled) show with an impressive plot.

Books:

Tough one... I'll work on this later. I work in a book store, so I read a lot. ;)

Heroes:

Alright, I'm bored, sue me. Here is the daily story of a "hero" as he faces the most disgusting creation on earth. (Daily Episodes posted on MSN). Scott - EPISODE ONE: The peas sneak up on Scott! What will our hero do? Will he survive the hideousness of the peas? Stay tuned..Only time will tell!
Scott - EPISODE TWO: Our hero is held in the sinister gaze of the Peas. Dread and fear enters our hero. Can he withstand their onslaught? Stay tuned!
Scott - EPISODE THREE: Realizing that trustworthy corn has infiltrated the peas in an attempt to diminish their threat, our hero attacks! Stay tuned!
Scott - EPISODE FOUR: A preemptive strike by our hero takes the peas unaware, caught between teeth and a hard [spoon] place! Alas, the battle begins!
Scott - EPISODE FIVE: Treachery! The corn taste like peas! Our hero tries to regroup as the dual invaders march on. O the humanity O the organictry!...
