About Me
I dated a girl in school March of 1975, and she introduced me to KISS, I at that time have never heard of them. She then tells me she knew Gene Simmons.
Later that summer vacation, I had a car crash doin' 95 mph, It was top speed for the car.(VOLKSWAGON BUG) I then crashed. When school started back up in Sept I seen her again. She asked what happened?I then told her, and she wanted to know what it sounded like. Then as time went on towards November of 1975, I joined the Navy, before we said our goodbye's
She was moving back to New York with the person she was living with at the time in Coos Bay, Oregon.
Before her last day there, in the school hallway, there was a "Ladies Room" that she tried to talk me into going into. Well I guess that's my Beginning in "KISSTORY" After all that we where on our way out side to go back to our classes. She gave me the nick name "Dr. Love"
I did ask her why, then she replies - never mind you'll see. (End of quote). Please note this was 1975, well before the song came out, infact, I was told this before DESTROYER was released, let alone ROCK & ROLL OVER came out in 1976 (release year for both albums).On the Love Gun tour, I wnt to see them in concert (Portland, Oregon 1977). It was from that concert I was Back stage, and when I came back through the hallway a camera man had followed me, I also got singled out with the spotlight during the show. I was in KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK I was wearing green and had a splint on my LEFT hand (caused by the Car Crash)It was the footage from that Concert of KISS'S that made it on CONAN O'BRIEN, and in that movie. I have been in other films such as "KINGPIN", "FREINDS OF BILL", "VEGAS VACATION", and a few TV commercials. I've also done voice over for a radio station as well as being a comedy consultant.
So I'm doing this tribue as a responce to being mentioned on the MTV Kiss Tribute, VH1 behind the music with KISS, and The Conan O'Brien show.
