By the age of 17, Mista Play Boy was hand-picked by No Limit Records to perform as the only local opening act during "The Street Ballers Tour" in Corpus Christi on March 3, 2003 at the Yellow Rose Convention center. The tour included performances by the Dirty South's rap empresario MASTER P & his NO LIMIT main artists Silkk Tha Shocker, 504 Boyz and Choppa. The tour also included a performance by multi-platinum and the industry's hottest performer 50 Cent & his G-Unit Crew.Today, Mista Play Boy has masterfully-crafted a unique sound -- an amalgam of musical influences taken directly from his Mexican American experience as well as rap industry pioneers such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, Nas, Eminem, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, The Neptunes, Timbaland, Kanye West and many more.In 2000, Mista Play Boy began Deep & Dirty Entertainment - a small label created alongside labelmate One Man Gang and Marc Casanova. In 2006, he has produced a fierce debut album entitled "OUT THE SMOKE." Throughout the years, Mista Play Boy has made a buzz for himself through self-promotion, featured apprearances on various mixtapes throughout Texas and New York City, state-wide performances and multiple wins in local freestyle/rap battle contests.
