Grind Product - Watch the best video clips here $$ Name: OneSix Ethnicity: Asian/Pacific Islander Hometown: San Diego, California - Residing in Corpus Christi, Texas Label: First Cause Records / Pimp So Real Muzik Albums: Game Of The Hustlah 2005 - Boss' Life Compilation Distribution: DigitalOneSix is from the Eastside of Corpus Christi, Texas. To some its anywhere in the 78418. With the opportunity to flex on the mic KING RICH ENTERTAINMENT organized talent from Dabada, Maestro, Third Coast, Hi-C and others to perform for the headline Mr.Mike. With a show of freestyle skill OneSix was on a new path. This was just in time because of a couple run-ins with the law now cleared. Also, at the time were beginnings of Whut Productions headed by DJ Dus and several up and coming DJ's such as DJ Natural People were either cousins or friends of friends deciding to take route towards an avenue known as music. OneSix was asked if he wanted to spin. Freestylin at house parties and freestyle contests. With several appearances already under his belt and after talks with Rap-A-Lot, OneSix was asked to come up or add a visit to the Rap-A-Lot Headquarters in Houston, Texas 1997 to the agenda. He was asked if he could sing by Brad 'Mista Scarface' Jordan. Things you want you don't always get to do. I wasn't there to sing. Still young but there to learn the business. Being all about a possible deal, a possible contract and a possible break. "I have my own rap and write them too". And so at Knockhard Studio the path was clear to this AZN Rappa to make the mark not known to many but later familiarized to a widely growing and developing generation. As an innovator this put OneSix at an opportunity to write classic albums that have yet to be recorded. "Alot is manuscript, where I used to write to get past situations, now everybody has to watch what they talk"Paper was stacked during this time, not many were about their music, and OneSix came about this as a Songwriter/Composer/Lyricist. And when you heard him talk you were either going to love it or hate it.. The dude could answer with a freestyle rap or read from the book with rhythm. With his tough persona OneSix rap style is aggressive than most. Since, it takes money to make money almost 3 to 4 albums were written. And most recently the debut CD from FIRST CAUSE RECORDSHELLBOUND PRODUCTIONS AND GRAPHICS BY MINDSTATE PRODUCTIONS: GAME OF THE HUSTLAH 2005. Compiling the work done from all manuscripts. The song Ridahs and Rollahs from Game Of The Hustlah is featured on Mandatory Business/Get Low Entertainment's BOSS LIFE Vol. 1 1st of a 3 album compiliation. Not a ten album deal - A break long awaited for to have the Majors looking at you. Recognition from the best of the best run this record. Fonk Temple and Bigg Dogg Mgmt added the making of 'BIRTH OF AN EMPIRE' LP to the strategy from Corpus Christi, TX - Houston, TX - Atlanta, GA. Since then OneSix has had another opportunity in front of a crowd of 300-500 people to rap the lyrics of one of his songs at the MistaScarface concert put on by 102.9 Da Bomb. 'Mista Scarface is like a teacher and sometimes you have to know who your talking too.'
