RÃ¸d mix er et countryrock/rock..n roll-band med beina godt planta pÃ¥ jorda. Vi er fem "vanlige" karer fra Birkeland som har stor glede av Ã¥ spille live. Det er her vi trives best! NÃ¥r vi ser at folk liker musikken vi spiller og dansegulvet er gnufullt da liker vi oss best!!! Musikken vÃ¥r strekker seg rimelig langt stilmessig. Noen vil nok kanskje kalle det for "festcountry", men det er ogsÃ¥ blitt mer ren rock etterhvert.IN ENGLISH: RÃ¸d Mix are a country/rock band from Norway containg five good looking guys who has ther feet solid planted on ground;) Our favourite thing is to play songs we have written and songs we cherish live infront of a not so sober audience in the local club:) Our music is in many different genre because we like a lot of styles, but most people would put us in the folk rock/ country genre and thats fine by us! Influences: Our influences are many, and not a specific genre. here are a few: AC/DC, Status Quo, John Fogerty, Dum Dum, Raga, Highwaymen, Dire Straits, Gasolin, Hellbillies, Vestlandsfanden, CC-Cowboys, Steve Earle, Ingenting, Bruce Springsteen, Ã…ge Aleksandersen and many, many more..
Sounds Like: When we are in a rockin mode, its close to Status Quo and similar, but we also like playing more country related stuff, then the typically style may be like Vassenguttane, Cash, hellbillies, rockin and trad. country, in the middle it sounds like CC-Cowboys, Steve Earle and more.. You probarbly get that we play simply what we like, no dependince of genre witch comes thru at our two CDs we realesed in 2002 and 2006. A new disc on the way, next year. When we do live shows, we like simply to play what people like to hear and mix in som of our own stuff :o)
