About Me

THEN...
Born in '86, Dough grew up with the right influences and ideals...
With his mother being half Caribbean, he got used to and especially got in love with the music that those islands produced.
For example, at the age of 4 he was already trying to sing along and skank on Ziggy Marley tunes...
Years went by and he kept on loving music, only the genre adapted. Collecting dozens of mixtapes, he was a true fan of so called "Underground Hiphop". Indulging himself with his musical knowledge he was gathering at that time, he decided to buy a turntable.
Not yet to mix, just so he could enjoy the warm sound of a vinyl record. However, the urge to mix didn't come much later, so he started to save some money and bought his first (good) turntables and mixer right after his 16th birthday.
Using the name his partner in crime (M-Prah) gave him for a short version of his name (Dominique Do Dough), he was on his way to start his DJ'ing career.
Spinning "Underground Hiphop" at party's was nice, but he didn't get a kick out of it...
After some time he got more and more in touch with slightly more commercial and mainstream hiphop/r&b.
Spinning that at party's was more satisfying, people danced and were amusing themselves. Age 17 he got back in touch with his roots by going to dancehall events and renewed his love with Caribbean music, especially reggae, dancehall, ragga and soca. Adding this to his record-collection and spinning this at party's was the best thing he did in quite a while. He found what he was looking for, a musicstrain he loved dearly that he could also play at party's.
Mixing this with his urban knowledge, A new deejay was born...
NOW...
He played at several party's in Ghent, De Panne, Antwerp, Blankenberge, Bruges, Prague (CZ), Den Haag (NL), Barcelona (ES), ...
At events and clubs as Bacardi B-Live, TMF Coolsweat, City Queens, BRUCKOUT!, The'Licious, Quartier, Circosia, XT3 (CZ), Sugar (ES), Vooruit (Ghent) and many more.
He is resident at club Decadance (Ghent) back2back with Duuub and has a dancehall concept there called "DecaDanceHall" together with Raggamuffin Whiteman that comes around every 2 weeks.
He's also the starter and proud member of the Twenty Hertz Collective, which appeared on national television (TMF/Coolsweat).

Living by the motto "Growing Strong Roots..." he is making his name in the nightlife...
