It suffices to say that I am interested...period. I have an unquenchable thirst for learning new things. I can be quite comfy in the woods for long periods of time. Creative or unique viewpoints are always fascinating. I love to sing and am teaching myself to play guitar. I write quite a bit lately and plan to start a book soon. I observe animal behavior for hours on end. Just a bug doin' it's thing is enough.
Those who are sincere and earn the respect of others by being respectful. It's ok to speak your mind, and I am not easily shocked or offended, but haters of any description will be summarily ignored.
Some of just about everything from any time period or culture. If there are lyrics, content is key. Rhythm, melody, harmonies, a good bassline, percussion, or just the cadence of a voice can move me deeply.
YES PLEASE! I enjoy a good movie....what is "good" depends on the day. I often find the commentaries far more interesting than the movie itself....provided that they are not just an opportunity for a director to suck up to it's cast, and that there is talk of the dynamics between the characters...and beetween the movie and it's audience.
I could'nt care less unless it's comedy or educational. I rarely watch with the exception of the rare show here and there.
Latest favorites: Blink, Man's search for meaning, The traveler's gift, Way of the peaceful warrior, The education of Little Tree,Almost any How To Manual (especially if it has exploded view diagrams.)Many books on philosophy and religions of all kinds and time periods. National Geographic mags...(old and new).....I used to have every edition from as far back as 1938 (I think it was).....This is hands down the Best Magazine ever put to paper in my opinion. When I had to move in 2001.... I ended up donating them all to varius nursing homes etc. who's libraries were pathetically understocked and neglected...... I often wish that I had kept them for reference, but I know they have brought joy to some elders in need....so I don't regret the choice too much. Given the opportunity, I would collect them all over again.
I have only a few specifically..... My Daddy and his beloved wife who took me into their home when I was just a baby...they taught me by example what it means to love unconditionally, and to have faith in God no matter what. Then.... anyone who truly lives a life of service to humanity and seeks no reward for their deeds.
