Cee Know the Doodlebug of Digable Planets and DJ Alex J. of Deviants of Reality are collaborating on a Hip Hop album entitled “Futuristic Sci-Fiâ€. The album will include guest appearances from Kai Chi of the CFO Allstars and others. The First Single from the album called “We Bringing it Back (The Takeover)†has generated a huge buzz at college radio with limited promotion. It was the featured hip hop single on Itunes for the month of June and has been licensed by Nokia for a ringtone promotion set for the Fall of ‘07.

Digable Planets’ (www.myspace.com/digableplanets) fusion of jazz and hip hop received excellent reviews and solid sales with the release of its debut album, Reachin’ (A New Refutation of Time and Space), in 1993, which was certified gold by the RIAA. The album’s lead single, "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)," became a crossover hit, peaking at 15 on Billboard magazine’s singles chart, earning gold certification by the RIAA, and winning the Grammy award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
Filled with literate lyrics, honey-smooth flow, and inventive arrangements, their albums Reachin’ (A New Refutation Of Time And Space) (1993) and Blowout Comb (1994) redefined hip-hop, and set standards for the generation of soul poets and innovative producers that followed, as the new anthology Beyond The Spectrum: The Creamy Spy Chronicles effortlessly reiterates.Digable Planets recently reformed to play a number of well-received live dates (including Lollapalooza 2005),and begin work on their first album in over a decade.

Deviants Of Reality is a Hip Hop Group created by producer/remixer
DJ Alex J. (www.myspace.com/djalexj) and is based out of Red Bank, N.J (the home town of movie Director Kevin Smith- Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob). Their Debut album "The Art of Mind Travel" was released and distributed by ZYX Music in Europe during the Spring of 2004 and has sold over 8000 copies to date.
The Deviant’s 2nd Album "Love,Sex,and Situation" was on CMJ’s MOST ADDED LIST along with The Roots ,and Outkast.They had over 65 college radio stations playing their album.Capcom licensed several songs from the album for the video game "Final Fight Streetwise".MTV also licensed "Deviant" instrumentals for the TV shows "Yo Mama" and "Wild n Out with Nick Cannon". The group has been described as a throwback to the golden era of hip hop.
They also were featured on the Itunes mixtape Vol.2 and Vol.3 along side De La Soul and Jean Grae.
