Music, guitar, art, drawing/sketching, willy-nilly crocheting, travel, eating new and exciting FOOD, laughing, laughing and did I mention laughing?
People who can entertain me!! Humorous folks are at the top of my list. I need to hear from people who keep me from slumping down in my chair and drooling on myself. Keep me distracted!!!
I have an extremely diverse taste in music. It all depends on my mood for the day. One day I can wake up and listen to Maroon 5. The next day I'll be on an Elvis kick. Yet, that same day I will have an urge to put on Steely Dan and end the day with Big Head Todd and the Monsters. I love it all.
Ah, yikes!!! I have seen so many movies and I cannot pick out my favorite. I have too many favorites. I love comedies. I love suspense. I have my favorite actors too. I love Val Kilmer and Johnny Depp...but that is because regardless of their acting abilities I just like to watch THEM. Ha!
I am not big on television I guess. I find that the TV just makes me zone out or go to sleep unless it is something involving music and talent... like American Idol or something like that. Sorry... not a boob toob fanatic.
I love autobiographies on interesting people. "I shock myself" by Beatrice Wood is a good one. I even read a Richard Simmons book called "still hungry after all these years".. and it was hilarious!! I have only recently started devoting some time to reading. I was never able to focus on one book for long enough to finish it... but now I pick them up from the library and I know I only have three weeks to read them and that is a great procrastination deterrent. A really good one: Dress your family in corduroy and denim, by David Sedaris. Ha!!! Loved it.
My Dad. My spritual mother, Chris. Keith Green. My sister, Annie. Anyone who understands me... hence, my dead ex-husband, Brian.
