nevolution

nevolution was formed by four local guys in a small town in Iceland who shared the common dream of success in the music business. Even though only a little over a year has passed since then we have accomplished a lot. Not long after we formed the band we recorded a promotional cd, "the jumpstop theory", which contains 5 songs. After few months of insane shows around Iceland we finally got our first brake. The guys from Iron Maiden somehow got their hands on the promo and contacted us for a opening gig in Iceland since Mastodon could not make it. We were of course amazed by this strange message from our heroes since childhood and agreed to play with them. The gig went well and earned us a respectable place in the Icelandic music scene. Other bands we have played with are Into Eternity and Amon Amarth After this we decided to go for our first album, Music to snap by in September 2005 we started recording and decided that it would be a lot more fun to do it on our own in an Icelandic farm in the middle of nowhere then doing it in some fancy studio, we finished recording in the end of January 2006.. The album was released in April and since then we have been touring around Iceland to support our album. Stay tuned for more!.
