About Me

New artwork hanging on our wall. Like it? Of course you do. So stop drooling and go check out more examples by the artist, Mike Kjolhaug at myspace.com/threepointfiveink . Tell him DevilBoy sent your ass over......
"You guys....having some satanic guitar pick isn't gonna make your rock any better. Because Satan's not in a guitar pick....he's inside all of us. In here....in your hearts. He's what makes us not want to go to work, or exercise, or tell the truth. He's what makes us want to party and have sex with each other all night long. He's that little voice in your mind that says "Fuck you" to the people you hate....." ~ from Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny

"I'm The Devil, I LOVE Metal!"
"Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law." ~ Aleister Crowley
After 40 years of bouncing around, I am finally happy with where I am in life. I have an incredible (and incredibly beautiful!) wife, an awesome daughter, a job I actually (sort of!) enjoy going to everyday, and a side project that - with nurturing and hard work - could replace my day job as a regular gig. Wanna see? Go check out Alternative World Fanzine . In a few months I have gone from bugging the publisher/editor-in-chief, Kelly Q., for a chance to write something to Assistant Editor (and Contributing Writer/Reviewer/Photographer). I love it and you will too. Go check it out. Am getting more and more into rock photography (have provided many many shots for several bands.....you know who you are and I know where you live!) and am digging the Bay Area music scene that is continuing to evolve and produce some awesome fucking bands.Pierced and inked freak, husband, father, wannabe writer. Irish in my blood, lovable devil to the bone. I enjoy reading various genres of literature, from the classics to the nouveou trashy (everything has it's place, right?). Movies, TV, art that is both fierce and thought provoking never ceases to amaze me or capture my attention and admiration.
If you really want to get to know me, subscribe to my blog. I write in it pretty regularly because I am a huge MySpace whore who is on here pretty much all day, every day (mainly because my job involves sitting on my ass all day in front of a computer screen and I often need the distraction offered). Sometimes I write about political opinions, sometimes reviews of movies/music/TV, sometimes I will put drunk photos of myself up for everyone's enjoyment (sorry...nothing naked...trust me, NO ONE wants to see THAT).
And just because I have links and pictures to Suicide Girls, adult film actresses, and other hot MySpace chicks here.....don't get the impression that I am looking for anything other than the gorgeous and sexy DevilGirl, my wife. I just appreciate beauty....as well as a nice ass and a great set of boobs. Hey, who doesn't, right?

My Interests

Dakota and Sloan ~ 03/13/2007 Goodbye, Big Dog....

"I saw that all beings are fated to happiness: action is not life, but a way of wasting some force, an enervation. Morality is the weakness of the brain." ~ Arthur Rimbaud

Tattoos, sex, beer, my wife, music, movies, my daughter, writing, my friends, my dogs, sex, Japanese art, beer, sushi, sake, my wife, strippers, red meat, cigars, sex, tattoos, guns, great literature, being a sarcastic son-of-a-bitch, porn, seeing bands live.
"There's no time to discriminate/Hate every mother fucker that gets in your way" ~ from The Beautiful People by Marliyn Manson

Horror movies, sex, hot chicks who like to take their clothes off, my wife (yes, again), beer (yes, again), any artwork that features The Devil, gladiator movies ("You ever seen a grown man naked?")

"....Yes I think it's safe to say/I feel good about the sins/That I inflict on my own skin/I pay money to cut and burn/Pictures like the lessons that I need to learn/I see faces on the ceiling/I see them move, I hear them singing/I lay back in here by myself/I think about the time that I've spent in hell...." ~ from When It All Goes Wrong Again by Everclear

Ink junkies like myself who can offer literate and enlightening conversation. Ink slingers, bands, and chicks who like to take their clothes off are always welcome. Otherwise I see this whole MySpace thingie as being more like entertainment and a way to keep in touch with existing friends on an amusing level.

Self-realized freaks, mild to wild, who enjoy music and movies, great literature (always subjective, but let's keep that open to interpretation anyway...), those who can enjoy the pleasures of the flesh as well as the mundanities of everyday life. Be open to sharing a beer and some good conversation and we are off to a great fucking start......

Don't be shy, fucker, say hi!
If you are not inked or pierced, thats cool, but don't ask me if mine hurt. Yes, they fucking hurt. That was the whole fucking point. Suffer for your art, bitch.
"I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then- whoosh, and I'm gone...and they'll never see anything like it ever again...and they won't be able to forget me- ever." ~ Jim Morrison

Music:

I have a tendancy to lean toward Gothic/Metal/ Industrial/Speed/Thrash/ Black/Death Rock. Being a tried and true child of the 80s, I also hold a special place in my heart for the Hair Metal of that era, i.e. Motley Crue, L.A. Guns, Guns 'N Roses, Faster Pussycat (kill, motherfucker, kill!), etc.

What I consider classic and sacred: Iggy, Bowie, Misfits, Suicidal, Pistols, Clash (although it has taken me a long fucking time - too fucking long - to gain a true appreciation for them), T Rex, and - of course - The Doors.
Always ready to fucking throw the horns up......if I'm not flippin' the band off, with all due respect and love of course!

I have recently been discovering (as well as re-discovering) some great stuff by being out here. I like to think I have a pretty open mind to all sorts of music, but I must admit that if it doesn't feature some grinding electric guitars and a drum/bass to reset my blood circulation, I probably will move on pretty quick. There are a few exceptions, but that's pretty much the basic truth.

Any bands of a similar ilk or other MySpace freaks like myself who want to either educate or hook me up with music that dances on the darker edge (however softly or frenetic), please feel free to hit me up.

Movies:

Kubrick was a great talent, Robert Rodriquez, Ridley Scott, some Ron "Ritchie C." Howard stuff although I must admit to finding his choice of projects rather safe and tame and catering to the dumbass masses. The "Man With No Name" spaghetti Westerns that Clint made.

Horror movies are always a good way to strike up a conversation with me, drama and "chick flicks" will make me throw anything within arm's reach at your head. Any storyline that has the bad guy winning, I'm there.

Books:

Any and all works written by the following or delving into the following topics suit me fine (again, not in any particular fucking order):
Hunter S. Thompson, Ovid, Rimbaud, Lord Byron, William S. Burroughs, Jim Morrison, Jack Kerouac, Anne Rice, Thomas Harris, Jim Carroll, J.T. Leroy, Kurt Vonnegut, Henry Miller, Japanese history/art, tattoo magazines, "lad mags" (i.e., FHM, Maxim, et al), Anton LaVey, Nietzsche.....
As I write this, I begin to realize there are too many in my library as well as many more I cannot bring immediately to mind.
As with music and movies, please feel free to discuss your faves with me and we can compare....

Heroes:

Heroes are for the weak. Follow your own heart, show your horns, and shout out a loud "Fuck you!" to the haters. Hell awaits not for you but for those who succumb to the true sins of stupidity, complacency, lack of vision....as well as lack of a sense of humor.......

Initial impressions? Don't bother. Yeah. It's that bad. I was a huge fan of the original version of The Hitcher that starred C. Thomas Howell and Rutger Hauer. Those in your 20s out there are probably...
