First and foremost...Anthropology? I'm also fascinated with Art History, the Art's in general both visual and performing. When I get the chance I like to draw, paint, and fool around with some photography. I love live theater and any live performances really, including music. I am really into traveling via just about any mode of transportation. I enjoy riding the back roads of Wisconsin almost as much as I have enjoyed traveling abroad. Nature has always been one of my first loves and I manage to get outside as much as possible. Simple things such as working around in my yard and tending to flowers or camping my way around Lake Superior make me equally as happy. Let's see......to round it off here I like computers, reading both fiction and non-fiction, listening to music (that of which I usually have on over the tv), and spending time with family and friends.
In the real world or on MySpace? Real world; Neil Young, Madeleine Albright, Maya Angelou, Roy Lichtenstein, Joni Mitchell, Hilary Clinton, & Jane Goodall again. Here on MySpace; I'd Like to meet someone who feels they have something worthwhile to share. Let's face it everyone is interesting in and of themself, but not everyone is interesting to talk to. Am I confusing anyone??? as I think I may be confusing me. lol Honestly though someone who is intelligent, good humored, and just thought of as a really 'nice' person is really who I'm looking for. Not into folks who are spiteful, vengeful, cruel, and just plain mean. Life is WAY too short to let them sap positive energy out of me and spread their negativity. I do not watch much TV at all. I perfer to listen to music or be engaged in something. Otherwise when I do watch it is most often CNN, A&;E, The History Channel, National Geo, Seinfeld re-runs, Sat. Night Live on a good night.
My fav. author is John Steinbeck and fav. book of his is no doubt 'Grapes of Wrath', 'Of Mice & Men', 'East of Eden', and 'Travels with Charlie'. Favorite contempory author is Tracy Chevalier...she authored Girl With a Peal Earing, Falling Angels, etc... Other books on the top of my list are 'Wouldn't Take Nothing for my Journey Now'-Maya Angelou,-'Walden'-Henry Thoreau, 'I Know This Much is True'-Wally Lamb, 'Memoirs of a Geisha'-Arthur Golden, 'Living, Loving, & Learning'-Leo Buscaglia, 'The Purpose Driven Life'-Warren, 'It was on Fire When I Sat Down on It'-Robert Fulghum, 'Way of the Peaceful Warrior'-H.J. I have me a few.... First and foremost My Folks. Damn I miss them! Lost them both w/in 8mo. You never know what you have until it's gone. After that I'd go with Jane Goodall, Leonardo Davinci, Madeleine Albright, Mary Cassatt, Thomas Edison, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks, Diane Fossey, Amelia Earhart, Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, and all those who have fought for our country including my uncle with whom I was stolen the chance to meet.
