About Me

Myspace Animations

Welcome to 'My Space'! Glad you've stopped by. If you're up for a real good chat I'm game. Perhaps we share some common interest...all the better. Want to know a little about me do ya? Well here goes nothing. For starters I'm a 43yr. old professional. I am fun, absolutely love adventure and I don't even mind getting lost. Never know what's down that not so trodden road. I've a good sense of humor and love to laugh...don't get me started. I'm very much a people person, but also am very content to spend some time alone. The study of Anthropology has interested me for a long time. My middle name should have been 'Go', as I absolutely love to travel. Books/computers/TV, etc. are great for learning a lot about this world of ours, but nothing can replace what it's like to be completely submerged in another culture. Thus far I've traveled over 25 countries and a good share of the US of A as well. I enjoy my music, the arts, and entertainment... especially live performances. Been living here in the Midwest my entire life minus two years that I lived abroad. I'm a high/gmiddle school Art Teacher, and love my job. Sometimes I wonder who's teaching who. I suppose this is 'way' more than enough for now about me. When all is said and done, I am 100% 'ME'... not into putting on false pretenses. If you're interested in getting to know me better read more of my profile, or better yet drop me a note. Can't wait to hear from you! :)

My Interests

First and foremost...Anthropology? I'm also fascinated with Art History, the Art's in general both visual and performing. When I get the chance I like to draw, paint, and fool around with some photography. I love live theater and any live performances really, including music. I am really into traveling via just about any mode of transportation. I enjoy riding the back roads of Wisconsin almost as much as I have enjoyed traveling abroad. Nature has always been one of my first loves and I manage to get outside as much as possible. Simple things such as working around in my yard and tending to flowers or camping my way around Lake Superior make me equally as happy. Let's see......to round it off here I like computers, reading both fiction and non-fiction, listening to music (that of which I usually have on over the tv), and spending time with family and friends.

I'd like to meet:

In the real world or on MySpace? Real world; Neil Young, Madeleine Albright, Maya Angelou, Roy Lichtenstein, Joni Mitchell, Hilary Clinton, & Jane Goodall again. Here on MySpace; I'd Like to meet someone who feels they have something worthwhile to share. Let's face it everyone is interesting in and of themself, but not everyone is interesting to talk to. Am I confusing anyone??? as I think I may be confusing me. lol Honestly though someone who is intelligent, good humored, and just thought of as a really 'nice' person is really who I'm looking for. Not into folks who are spiteful, vengeful, cruel, and just plain mean. Life is WAY too short to let them sap positive energy out of me and spread their negativity. If you've spent this much time reading what I've written already, you're probably someone with whom I'd love to chat with. Add me to your list.........one can always use another friend :).. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- START YOUTHINK.COM QUIZ RESULTS --

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are quite expressive and thoughtful. You see the world in a way that others are blind to.
You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds.
You believe that people see you as a bit small and insignificant. People pay more attention to you than you think.
Your near future is a lot like the present, and as far as you're concerned, that's a very good thing.
For you, falling in love has never been easy. You can only fall for someone who is very patient and persistent. Inside the Room of Your Soul
You Are a Red Flower
A red flower tends to represent power, seduction, and desire.
At times, you are loving like a red tulip.
And at other times, you're very enthusiastic, like a bouvardia.
And more than you wish, your passion is a bit overwhelming, like a red rose. What Color Flower Are You? Music below by the Eagles with Love will Keep us Alive ..

One year ago today.

Today for many I'm sure was just any other day.  I cannot claim that for myself though, as it was far from just any day for me.  On this day I think about a man who was so much more larger t...
