listening to other bands when I have time. listening to music and buying music equipment.I'd rather be playing for a living though.I am playing,just not for a living. I like jamming with other bands,sitting in for other guitarists in other bands,but most of all my band! I hope to one day real soon have some of my own originals posted on here for all to listen to!just as soon as i purchase my own recording equipment... i started playing at ten yrs of age,then started doing shows when in high school in illinois.first band was called mixed emotions..then full force band..then moved to kentucky after high school and joined the sweet water band and got married with a stepson and soon to follow,my son.chad and j.t. .left that band after yrs.of shows with them and started the M.T.B. BAND.the initials stood for our last names.we won 2nd place out of 50 bands at the carl casper auto show in louisville...that band broke up so i formed the M.T.B.II BAND. this time with a keyboard player.sounded great!!but fred died and that ended that. WISH YOU COULD HAVE KNOWN FRED!!!i miss him a lot! then me and another guy formed the riverside band which was short lived because i got divorced and moved to indiana. after finding a job i joined another band called loose wheel.that also was short lived because myself and another guy started THE TOM AND BOB SHOW. we did that for going on 8 yrs as we still do it but not as much because tom and i formed THE FRIED GEEZERS BAND.... and thats what you see here!!!!!!!!! in between the tom and bob show and the fried geezers i got remarried to missy,the love of my life with a son and 2 daughters, chance peyton and stevi. all 3 characters in thier own mind,ha ha. i love to hear other bands when i have the opportunity. thats why i love my space . it gives me the chance to hear bands from around the world! where else can you find that! we've had radney foster on stage with us, opened for pat travers even though he probably would'nt remember it because he was late and we had already left.we partied with the kentucky headhunters at nathan's cafe singing karoke of all things after we helped them roll the tarps over the equipment because of rain in bardstown thinking they would never play, but they were great,the rain broke, the tarps came down and they jammed thier hearts out. it was fred that got us back backstage!turns out he grew up with a few of them......... thanks fred!
other musicians who write their own material,and have a technical knowledge of setting up their own p.a. systems. also , just good people.mainly here for family and some good friends.would have like to have met CHET ATKINS, ELVIS PRESLEY,JOHN LENNON,GEORGE HARRISON,JOHNNY CASH, MARTY ROBBINS,ROY ORBISON,RICKY NELSON,BUDDY HOLLY, RAY CHARLES,JIMI HENDRIX,JANIS JOPLIN,WAYLON JENNINGS,CONWAY TWITTY, even though i did see him in concert!the ones i'd like to meet are CLINT BLACK, THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS, again,DWIGHT YOCHAM,think i spelled that wrong?saw him in concert with patty loveless. also saw ELTON JOHN in concert.an old girlfriend drug me screaming and kicking to that one.even though i had a good time anyway! would also like to meet brad paisley,because he is an awesome guitar player along with vince gill and travis tritt and marty stewart. i grew up listening to the ventures,the beatles,my all time favorite band!!!!!!!!!!!!! the eagles,the who,the guess who,bto,bob seger ,ted nugent ,reo speedwagon,ufo,crosby stills and nash,neil young,wishbone ash, humble pie,early zz top,the monkees, johnny cash,elvis,ccr,sandy nelson on the drums,black sabbath,deep purple,i could go on for hours but i won't.. just take a look at my friends and enjoy!!!!!!!!1 welcome to my world!Extended Network Banner made with MyBannerMaker.com!
