Matthew Fogle & The Heroics

About Me

Question: Who writes over 25 complete songs before deciding to become a musician? Answer: A person who genuinely wants to perform & record music, and have his songs played on the radio, and is not preoccupied with having his picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone.
Matthew Fogle wrote over 25 complete songs three months before getting his first guitar. He was in the middle of a melodic spurt - in a zone - composing songs while walking in the backyard or in the halls of school, with the same musical background as a tree stump or an oil can. He recorded all of his songs on one cassette tape, which remains locked up to this day.
Fast-forward: Now Matthew has played hundreds of shows, continues to write music, and feels that life experience is the fuel for good tunes. With talented backup ..boards, bass, and drums, spurning the band name "Matthew Fogle & The Heroics," the music continues to gain exposure in the Louisville, KY area.
The music, the message, and social charity, however, are the center focus for the project. "Creating music is awesome, but it takes a back seat to compassion, service, and genuine love for the community. Everyone, not only record execs, needs to hear the music sometimes." - MF
