I was born in 6th august 1973.
I'm a drummer and percussionist.
I've started playing since I was 18, in the Turin underground area. in 15 years I played and I had several collaborations with great italian musicians. performances, concerts, recording sessions had been my hystory since 1992..that is my primitive emotion and still it is.
I played in "UNIVERSI d'ISTINTI" (april 2006), produced by Lele Battista, with R. in 06 I started a collaboration with Marcia Vaitsmann, brasilian media artist. together we've worked on a project called "TENDING TO ZERO". experiment of contemporary art that mixes dance, visual and rhythmns. We performed this project in november 06 @ the Cable Factory in Helsinki. from the beginning of 07 I've worked for the 1st studio album by R. called FLUIDO, recorded at TransEuropa recording studio in Turin, thanks for that I've worked with a great man and producer, Fabrizio "CIT" Chiapello.
I played also in the 1st solo record of Emanuele DeFrancesco, at Just Recording studio in Milan, with production by Max Lotti and Lele Battista.
By the 07 spring I'm beginning to elaborate a new sonic, mystical project with a great man and artist, Maurizio Iorio (Spettro Sonoro, Distorsonic, Not me, Moltheni). together, we're trying to give feed to our native emotions, to celebrate the thousands and thousands of small atoms inside the sound. Give a new light to a new sound. rhytmical trip inside musician's ego. "EGO TRIP" the project's name, that will be ready in some part of stratosphere in a a few months.
My musical activity brings me to elaborate new kind of perceptions, I like to be involved in everything that I consider pure and exciting. no matter if it's music, painting, visual art, acting, or whatever else. I believe in the complete freedom in art expression. and freedom lives inside the possibility of sharing different artistical meanings.
from the beginning of 08 some things are happening. first I've a started to write musical critiques for the webzine ArtistsandBands.org.
thanks developing of myspace culture and sharing I've started a collaboration with UK artist, Lisa Button, together we're working on some her tracks. a very exciting and chillin' project feeling the air breeze.
I've worked with Mach Feedback, refined soul US composer and italian singer and poetess, Eva Milan, gave voice to a composition of mine (LONTANO).
I'm playing even with the italian song writer and singer, Patrizia Cirulli. smooth and deep soul's artist.
I've joined MARTI ,musical Andrea Bruschi's project (italian composer and actor) which produced the cd "UNMADE BEDS", who reached several recognizations in Europe.
I'm absolutely thankfull to all these incredible musicians, which are bringing my art to a higher level.
