I'm old enough now to have outgrown the rule of "If it ain't heavy, it's probably gay." However, I seem to be naturally pre-disposed toward the brutal stuff - Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Akercocke, Goatwhore, Melechesh, Emperor, Lamb of God, Satyricon, Immortal, Suffocation...you get the picture.
Apart from that, I also enjoy Faith No More, Queens of the Stone Age, Kings of Leon, Fugazi, Depeche Mode, Public Enemy, Gravediggaz, RL Burnside, Tindersticks, Rancid, Chris Connelly, Frank Black, The Dead Milkmen and anything else that can hold my attention intelligently.
Movies:
I have a DVD collection that's well passed the 350-mark, and includes American Beauty, O Brother Where Art Though?, Crash, 21 Grams, Fight Club, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, Lost In Translation, The Godfather, The Terminator, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, American History X, Heat, Goodfellas, The Departed, and a whole bunch of other shit you can't borrow.
Television:
I'm fond of, nay obsessed with The Sopranos. I still get a kick out of Seinfeld after seeing every episode at least 20 times and I love Curb Your Enthusiasm, Malcolm In The Middle, Arrested Development, and King of Queens.
