I am here for Friends

About Me

Co-creator of "Greg the Bunny" and the voice/puppeteer of the show's main characters. I am a writer of film & tv, a voice actor and an Ebay addict with a garage full of pinball machines and unopened action figures. I make a living playing with puppets, creating absolute silliness and am an advocate of mental masturbation (my second favorite kind). I want more dwarf friends.
I'm a rabid star wars junkie - I love my galaxies far, far away. I'm even compulsive enough to have learned to accept (with a sigh) the new movies, the way a family might accept a well-meaning but ultimately dysfunctional relative. They can stay for dinner, but they must eat in the kitchen.
I'm long-island born and a card-carrying Manhattanite but have been living these last few years in Los Angeles, brushing up on my road rage but enjoying the beautiful skies and the fact that my cats now know what grass looks like. I love life, fun, games and sandboxes both literal and figurative. Always nice to meet others who bring a bucket so the castles can have another tier.

God, I hate this. Simply too many diverse genres and loving films so much it seems unfair to make a list.

Suffice it to say I love movies that surprise me, can mix tension, sadness and laughter into something that almost seems as absurd as life. Atomic monsters are a plus.

Television:

GARTH MARENGHI'S DARK PLACE
LOOK AROUND YOU (BBC)
SPACED (BBC)
THE OFFICE!!! (BBC version, NBC gets honorable mention)
COWBOY BEBOP | Monty Python | SCTV | Curb Your Enthusiasm
70s SNL | The Muppet Show | Lost | Survivor
BBC Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy series | Fawlty Towers
The Simpsons | The Larry Sanders Show | Ben Stiller's old Fox Show
South Park
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Robot Chicken (slight bias) | Sealab & Aqua Teen Hungerforce | Stella
The Comeback | (just about anything on HBO in the last few years)
Reno 911 | Little Britian | Ali G | The State
Battlestar Galactica!
Northern Exposure | Freaks & Geeks | Wonderfalls | MST3K
Absurd gems like Wonder Showzen and Andy Milonakis:
Classic sitcoms like Taxi, All in the Family. Not the biggest fan of sitcom as a medium, but there are many wonderful exceptions.
Love complex character dramas, especially those with subtle humor.
