- My latest little creation!
Guess I don't really have to say it again but I'm obsessive with my fantasy art - pretty standard really most of the time though. I love chilling out with my boys drinking beer, playing PS2 and watching movies. Other than that: sitting up all night being a final fantasy geek with BoB, plotting with Linda on sunday afternoons and pickling myself on a budget a couple of times a week. I love clubbing, especially in Creation in Cardiff coz thats awesome, but i also have a real panchant for smokey underground bars with unusual music or a pianist, cocktails and shady characters, Al Capone stylee. Call it an over-active imagination.
how jedi are you? :: by lawrie malen
Well hopefully a combination of Aragorn from the Lord Of The Rings Films and the guy from bend it like beckham or the whole cast of Troy, but failing that I'm happy as long as they're vaguely human, although I'm an animal lover so whatever. Nah seriously, all welcome but please don't add me just to get your numbers up - that really annoys me. And one more thing - if I don't know you that probably means I don't want love letters or pictures of your manhood (seriously, you'd be surprised).

Which Family Guy Character Are you?

I hate this question, you might as well just ask 'what little grey filing cabinet in my head shall I stick you in?' We judge people almost solely on their musical tastes these days and I think that sucks. Take me for example; much as I might deny it I quite enjoy going out of a saturday night and grinding away in a trendy bar - complete with mini-skirt, pin heels and a pina colada, but I'm also just as partial to donning my fish nets and heading down the dungeon as the next black eyelinered girl, so I guess I'm just doomed never to be a proper member of any group. Oh, whilst we're on the subject what the hell is emo? When I was at school emo was an insult thrown at wanna-be rockers and over-pretentious goths. Don't mean to insult anyone here but someone really needs to enlighten me! When did it become ok to be emo? And what is emo music specifically? If it means emotive surely all music is emotive? Why did people have to go overcomplicate things, I got it when it was just grunge or townie, know there's so many sub-niches it makes you dizzy. My head hurts... I need to lie down... (sniff). Anywho I guess, cut a long story short, Placebo and Lamb are way up top followed by Frank Sinatra, Eva Fitzgerald, Gwen Stefani, Damien Rice, Kanye West (how good is Jesus Walks?), Faithless, Orbital, Prodigy, Alanis Morisette, Jack Johnson, Mr Scruff, BLP, Jimmi Hendrix, Marylin Manson.. I think u get it - pretty varied. And McFly (its a guilty pleasure I know, but for some unknown reason there's a place in every girl's heart for them.)The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Second Level of Hell!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Level Score
Purgatory (Repenting Believers) Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers) Low
Level 2 (Lustful) Extreme
Level 3 (Gluttonous) Moderate
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious) Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy) Moderate
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics) High
Level 7 (Violent) High
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers) Very High
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous) Moderate
Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test
I'm a total movie buff, and I don't think I'd say I've got a particular favourite genre, but if I had to I think I'd probably say really epic films (Troy, coz it's girly porn!). Have to admit I'm not a massive fan of the mass produced rom-com stuff that keeps getting churned out but every now and then you get a cracker! Other that that I'll enjoy anything.
Best has gotta be the adult cartoon comedy type stuff. I have all the family guy boxsets, they rule! Nothing better than getting back from a mad night out and sitting up all night with a take-away and some good family guy! Unless you've got company that is...
I'm no bra-burner but I've developed a passion for feminist literature since being made to read it at university, its enlightening and very informing. Understanding it helps you make more educated decisions before immediately jumping to the stereotype of ball-crunching crazy lesbians every time you hear the word feminist, and I have to admit I was a bit guilty of that as I happen to be uncommonly fond of the hairy sex. Other than that I love nineteenth century literature in general but especially the gothic and actually most historical novels. Little example for you; Snow Falling On Cedars, Lady Audley's Secret, Lady Oracle, Birdsong, Rebecca, The Woman In White, Memoirs Of A Geisha (I read it before the film). I'm not all intellectual though, I love the Lord Of The Rings books and most fantasy stuff (Harry Potter - yay!). I'll devour anything on paper I suppose, must just be a book worm.
Kate Beckinsale just for being so damn hot and bad-ass (omg - Underworld) and Stan Lee coz he's the most awesome Marvel animator of all time along with Andy Hubert for the same reasons. I'm a bit of a Marvel/X-men junkie, sad I know but they're awesome. William Blake, my mum and Trevor Macdonald (ask if you're curious!). Finally my all time greatest hero ever has to the one and only true leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime. Obviously.
