About Me

I like to ask questions, and I like being asked questions. I notice I think about the concept of myself often enough to label me as somewhat neurotic, a little egocentric, and probably pretentious.I tend to feel that the universe is materialistic. Materialistic in the sense that it is not dualistic. So, materialistic as in, the universe is "monistic!" Not monastic. Or monadic for that matter. Matter. Matter and energy. That's what makes the universe go round. Matter and energy are two different things! Part of the same system. The same physical system. Physical in the sense that the system is quantifiable. Observable, quantifiable and predictable. Probably - Haha. I guess that is what we call physics. We've called a lot of things physics, but there are a lot of ways to look at something. Especially if that something operates on a scale beyond our immediate perceptual capacities. How spooky. They call Fox Mulder "Spooky," but he is fictional.Sure, maybe we are fictional too, or in some dream of an entity so immense and totally alien to our minds that we could never become aware of it, only ourselves. Honestly, I don't really think that matters at all. A lot like the Matrix. I hate to offend, but that movie is a lot like a puddle in a gas station. Pretty on the surface, but it goes nowhere and it's a diluted byproduct of something with a greater consistency. Whoops. It's not to say we shouldn't think about what we think we know and do not know, it's just that we probably know a lot less than we would like, and I know you know there are dozens of ancient and therefore really deep and valid and interesting quotes and proverbs eluding to this, so I figure I'll take things one step at a time and carry my assumption to its bitter end, and when I can carry it no more, I'll find another one. A better one. A new assumption to carry to death until it dies in turn, or I do.But if I am a good academic, I can write lots of books on my assumptions and other academics can nod or frown, smoking pipes in their armchairs and stroking their expressions. Then someone else might buy my shit and make it their own until they expire or the world ends. Maybe finally someone will figure out that we really are fictional or holographic or simply metaphorical or whatever and then their heads will liquefy and no one else will understand why until their heads liquefy too. I think that would be swell.lolinformationhttp://talbfij.ytmnd.com/

The Oracle
33% Extroversion, 66% Intuition, 0% Emotiveness, 100% Perceptiveness Heuristic, detached, and analytical to a fault, you are most like The Oracle. You are able to tackle any subject with a fine toothed comb, and you possess an ability to pinpoint nuances and shades of meaning that other people do not have and cannot understand. Accomplishment and realization of ideas are, for you, secondary to the rigorous exploration of ideas and questions -- you are, first and foremost, a theorist. You hate authority, convention, tradition, and under no circumstances do you accept a leadership role (although, you will gladly advise leadership when they're going astray, whether they want you to or not). Abstraction and generalities are your interests, details and particulars are usually inconsequential and uninteresting. You excel at language, mathematics and philosophy.
You are typically easy-going and non-confrontational until someone violates one of the very few principles that you deem sacred, at which point you can fly into a rage. Although you possess a much greater understanding of process and systems than the people around you, you are always conscious of the possibility that you've missed something or made a mistake. You don't tend to become attached to particular theories, and will immediately discard mistaken notions once they're revealed to be incorrect (but you don't tolerate iconoclasts who try to discredit validated theories through the use of fallacies and bad data). Despite being outwardly humble, you probably think of yourself as being smarter than most other people. That's because you are. In fact, in your dealings with people your understanding of their motives is so expansive that you know what they're going to say before they say it, and in world affairs, you usually know what is going to take place before it actually does. This ability would make you unbeatable in debates if only you were a little less pensive about your own conclusions, and a little more outgoing.

The Snake.
You scored 30 Naivete, 76 Savoir-Faire, and 67 Guidance! "Whomever I touch, I send back to the earth from whence he came, -But you are innocent and true, and you come from a star..."The Snake is not evil, or malicious. They simply know that sometimes, good does not come without sacrifice. Sometimes, you must leave something behind in order to go forward. They are very adept at helping others to see their point."'Where are the men?' the little prince at last took up the conversation again. "It is a little lonely in the desert...""'It is also lonely among men,' the snake said.""'You move me to pity-- you are so weak on this Earth made of granite," the snake said. "I can help you, some day, if you grow too homesick for your own planet. I can...""Oh! I understand you very well," said the little prince. "But why do you always speak in riddles?""I solve them all," said the snake. And they were both silent."

My score on The Jedi Test :
Luke Skywalker
(You scored 8 passion, 18 tolerance, 7 selfishness, and 35 reasoning!)
Forged as a weapon by Master Yoda, Luke Skywalker would always wrestle with his dark side and has worked hard at thinking and tolerating others. Beware, you will always be chastised, albeit softly.

A Queery

Should I chop off all my hair or what? I'm at that point where I've let it grow for long enough that I am desperately feeling the need to so something different with it.

You better be a good fucking band if you expect me to shut off someone like 65 Days of Static to listen to your goddamn noise in a friend request and not hate you for it. Good fucking luck.
