Cake or Death?

I'm like a super hero with no powers or motivation. I like t-shirts with stuff on them like that. Uh, my birthday was eventful: Easter Sunday, Tax Day, the Titanic sunk and both Leonardo DaVinci and the world's first McDonald's shared birthday time with me. I wasn't born in a barn but was born on a farm in Mid-Michigan and moved 17 times before I was 13... I professionally fall off horses- no joke, I get paid to fall off horses. While in LA fighting to make ends meet (ooh, i'm sooooo witty because, see: i really do stunt fighting stuff as work too... get it? Funny, huh? it's that razor wit I've got) I work as a producer- trying to make movies, do a little... er, rather, lately a LOT of acting and try to keep my head above the proverbial waters of debt until I can afford to be responsible.
I also: love multi-player video games, board games and any other human contact in the form of friendly competition; love talking to strangers, complimenting people in the hopes of making them smile, and avoiding compliments myself as I'm chronically self-deprecating- and find nothing wrong with it (self-deprecation or run-on sentences, apparently); believe in Karma, fortune cookies, some choice superstitions (possible serendipity; picking up pennies only if they're heads-up; kissing the yellow light...), and the power of human stupidity; am obsessed with the human condition (why we do what we do), religion (like Michigan Football), philosophy, World War II and college football (did I mention I went to Michigan? Go Blue, Baby!!!!); and wanna believe that there's someone for everybody, there's good in everyone, dreams come true, and that my hopeless romanticism will win out over my cynicism... and I believe that LA, in spite of all of the depravity, shallowness and intellectual and emotional detachment from the rest of the world, is the best place I've lived in simply because: THERE IS NO WINTER HERE! WOO! And, whenever all of the disgusting things about the world get to me, I just remember that "The face of a child can say it all, especially the mouth part of the face."
