The Days In Between have created something rare in the LA Music scene; a powerful sound that is sincere, charismatic--and simply put--their own. Their emotionally-charged performances and diverse catalog have enabled the Days In Between to develop a dedicated fanbase and gain serious momentum on college and internet radio stations.
After plans for a Canadian tour were thwarted due to work visa issues, the Days In Between were welcomed into the legendary London Bridge Studios in Seattle by engineer Geoff Ott (Nickelback,3 Doors Down, Melissa Ethridge, Unwritten Law, Candlebox) where the days recorded 6 new tracks with Ott while playing shows locally around Seattle. The impromtu EP titled "Sessions On The Bridge" is due in the Fall of 2007, following a full lenth disc that was partially recorded at London Bridge, and partially recorded in the bands rehearsal space "Crown City Recording" in Pasadena, California.
The Days In Between have topped the grunge, classic rock, and alternative charts on myspace.com and purevolume.com, and have been chosen as one of purevolume's top unsigned acts.
Equally inspiring is the Days passion and energy off-stage for a growing list of causes. With a lengthy resume of charity events, one finds in the Days In Between a band that practices what it preaches. The Days were selected by Marymount Records to contribute a track to the label's compilation, which benefits Medicine for Humanity and the Special Games. They have also performed live at the American Cancer Society's "Relay For Life" for the last two years and previously worked with "Team In Training" to host a benefit show and local artist showcase to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Days In Between also work with Rock The Vote (a bipartisan organization) to register fans online and at thier live shows.
The Days In Between spent most of 2006 touring the Northwest and Southwest, and as of February 2007, the band is officially on hiatus in order to focus on various side projects.
A big thanks for our friends at ichannel for theif support! The best internet radio station for unsigned and independent music.

Review Of The Days In Between at the Premier, Seattle WA. by Monica Marceli
There is a Mariners game half a block away and parking is insane. I arrive about half an hour early and climb the three steps that give way to the stage and the floor of the venue and meet the eyes of Eric Lilavois, the voice and guitar of the very band I came to see, The Days In Between. He strums on the un-amplified guitar as he turns his attention to the speakers behind him, check! check! I take a seat not far from the stage and look up to see Matt Herman, "You must be the bass player?" he nods and introduces himself. "Are you from myspace?" The drummer, Conor Logan comes over to say hi and talks to Matt about setting up. Eric is now across the room working on the set list.
It's 9:30 and people are filtering in, the Mariners game is about to let out and the Premier begins to fill. Conor calls out to the crowd and people gravitate toward the stage. The Days In Between rip into the first song of the set, the mics are being bitches but the strings and the drums sound amazing.
Eric spends more time airborne or crouched over the guitar than he does standing with two feet on the ground. His body bends around the guitar the way only musicians in this age can; its strings the beating of his heart - its breathing the air from his lungs. If you've ever seen the substance of a human being poured through an instrument, you know what I'm talking about. The lyrics are palpable and strong, Eric has a voice that makes you feel like you're part of the music, it resonates in you. Conor has such mastery over the drums it'll reset the pumping of your blood. Matt is more mellow; lost completely to playing the music until he remembers the crowd. The song changes and he puts the bass on the stand and sits in front of the keyboard. Playing one from their new EP, Help on the Way, Eric leans into the mic "That one's brand new, came out to kick off our tour, it's what? 5 days old?" He turns to give props to Conor and Matt. Everyone screams and applauds.
They have a classic sound. Right along with Cream, The Stones, Dylan, Tull., Grateful Dead, there's something that seems familiar and innate. It's so like the sound of the sixties but its also so contemporary. It's clear, scintillating, mellow and smooth in all the right places. I have to apologize to Conor, I got to talk to him after the show and I said "It's just good music!" That was a lie. It's awesome music. It's fantastic and this band is going to be huge!
Early in the set they played Switchback, Find Your Way (croon-croon, faint, swoon), Waking of the Day. They also played Only One Alive Tonight, Help on the Way, Once More, Darker Side, and more.
About half way through Darker Side, a gnarly biker dude hands me a beer and I realize that they are as into this music as I am. I look around. Mariners fans, biker dudes, myspace fans, college guys and their girlfriends, even the bar tarts (who neglected my empty glass), they all freekin' love these guys.
Everyone, everyone in the place is just drawn to them. You can't sit down when they're playing live. It's music to rawk to, music to sing with, music to dance to and mosh to. Listening to them feels like a memory, something that's going to stay with you and you can't wait to hear it, want to hear it, have to hear it. The kind of music where you've just got to turn it up and the kind that you can kick back and chill with. These guys are hugely talented.
They played for about an hour and a half. When they finished their set, everyone starts yelling "One more, one MORE!" but the guys have to pack it in for the next band. Dammit anyway.
I got to meet the whole band, an incredibly cool and real set of guys, got my poster signed, met some really cool bikers, and had an awesome time! Best part? They're coming back to Seattle in a month! I'm bringing everyone I know.
