I don't really watch movies....funny how that works really...I'm so into living the moment that sitting down for a film seems quite...ummm...unnatural? Is that the right way to describe it? It's just an odd sensation really. I suppose on the rare occasion I do see a film it is typically at the theater. It's easier that way because it's more of an 'event' for me...feels less passive.
I find television uninteresting, with the small exception of NFL Football, European football, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, Dr. Who (EXTERMINATE!), Charlie Rose, and various other public programs such as Frontline and other thought provoking bits.
I will also admit that I do enjoy Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Hilarious show.
Neuromancer by William Gibson....all of his novels really. But there are SO many books I've loved and read. Portal by Rob Swigart was way ahead of it's time...I loved that book. I've also grown up on Douglas Adams...the entire Hitchhikers Guide series has been a long time favorite. Rendevous With Rama by Arthur C. Clarke is also a fine novel...but I could go on and on...so I'll stop here.
