Rockin' it.

About Me

Hi there...My name is Brian. ;)

musician - lover - fighter - producer - engineer - word nerd

laid back - intensely passionate - focused - beer lover - tequila taster

rock n' roller - troublemaker - firestarter - diplomat - football lover

life long CHICAGO BEARS supporter, Madden bad ass

positive energy source - inspirational - realist - guarded - honest

I make records @ The Compound. .

I play bass guitar in a dirty groove rock n' roll band called Year Of The Gun . We're a fresh bunch of young chaps who like to turn the amps up to 11 and pen up some slick riffs, along with a healthy dose of fun lovin', tequila-drinkin' attitude. *halo*

My Interests

In No Particular Order:

1. Traveling across the world.

2. Lega Calcio (Serie A) and English Premiership football.

3. AS Roma & Arsenal.

4. All aspects of capturing and manipulating audio.

5. The Chicago Bears.

6. Riding scooters.

7. Playing music.

I'd like to meet:

You!

Music:

Current Playlist:

1. The Jesus & Mary Chain - 'Head On'

2. Blonde Redhead - '23'

3. Nouvelle Vague - 'Let Me Go'

4. Shiner - 'Third Gear Scratch'

5. Air - 'Playground Love'

6. Peter Bjorn and John - 'Young Folks'

7. Silversun Pickups - 'Little Lover's So Polite'

8. IranianRadio.com - Traditional Persian Music

9. SkyFM.com - Classical guitar and flamenco

10. Vmix.fr - Deep House mixes live from France

Movies:

I don't really watch movies....funny how that works really...I'm so into living the moment that sitting down for a film seems quite...ummm...unnatural? Is that the right way to describe it? It's just an odd sensation really. I suppose on the rare occasion I do see a film it is typically at the theater. It's easier that way because it's more of an 'event' for me...feels less passive.

Television:

I find television uninteresting, with the small exception of NFL Football, European football, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, Dr. Who (EXTERMINATE!), Charlie Rose, and various other public programs such as Frontline and other thought provoking bits.

I will also admit that I do enjoy Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Hilarious show.

Books:

Neuromancer by William Gibson....all of his novels really. But there are SO many books I've loved and read. Portal by Rob Swigart was way ahead of it's time...I loved that book. I've also grown up on Douglas Adams...the entire Hitchhikers Guide series has been a long time favorite. Rendevous With Rama by Arthur C. Clarke is also a fine novel...but I could go on and on...so I'll stop here.
