Jared v2.0

I'll clone myself like that blonde chick that sings 'Bette Davis Eyes'.

About Me

Sincere. Giving: I enjoy doing things for my friends, espececially when it is least expected. Quirky. Funny. Loud: I like bringing shy or quiet people out of their shells. Opposites attract, you know. Outgoing: I love meeting new people and making new friends. Open-minded: Always willing to learn and try new things. Sensitive. Caring: I wear my heart on my sleeve and like to show my affection/fondess for those close to me. Loyal. Reliable: It doesn't take much for me to become attached to people and I really try to be someone my friends and family can count on. Paranoid: Are you looking at me? What are you staring at?! Stop it! Insecure: A lot of times I think I'm probably not good enough or that people would rather not be bothered. Liberal: Abortions and gay marriage for everyone!!! Realistic. Stubborn. Fickle: I like things a certain way, but which way might change. Short: In both height and temperament. Opinionated: I apparently lack the part of the brain that would stop me from saying things that others might find offensive and I have no problem telling people they're being asshole-ish. Sarcastic. I have probably the most eclectic taste in music of all the people I know and I love discovering new things to listen to. I've been told I make a bitchin' "mix-tape". Maybe if I like you enough you'll get one. I am in a band called Bears. I play keyboards. Check them out:
After a twelve year hiatus I returned to the stage in the summer of 2005 as Riff Raff in the Weathervane Mainstage Production of the cult classic The Rocky Horror Show and won a YACTA Marquee Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical Revival (see pics/vids). That's right: I consider myself an award winning actor. Haha. If there's anything else you want to know then you should definitely ask. I'm an open book.
ABOUT MY TOP FRIENDS:
I keep my best friends at the top. The others are just people I am enjoying at the moment or looking forward to getting to know better. If the list is short, that probably means I don't like many people on any given day.

My Interests

Sweden(planning my second trip for summer 2007), Music and movies, Playing keyboards in the band Bears, Playing "Highland Square" baseball on sunday afternoons from April to November - it's not a league but it's really fun, Photography, Wasting time sending my friends messages on MySpace, Old school Adidas sneakers, The sound of lap steel guitar, playing piano, International travel, laughing, hanging out with interesting and funny people, orange popsicles and lemonade, Swedish Culture, sleeping, thunderstorms, hugs. I was going to say kittens and feelings but how sensitive can one man be, really?! THINGS I DISLIKE: I take it very personally when people don't return phone calls that have purpose. Pseudo-intellectuals, slutty chicks, dumb guys, cigarettes, papercuts, stupidity, narrow-mindedness, selfishness, vanity and trendy hipsters. Kidney stones are the worst thing ever!

I'd like to meet:

I insist on surrounding myself with creative and intelligent people. I'd like to meet friendly and interesting people - people who pique my curiosity. I'm not really here to fall in love, mostly to find new friends and keep in contact with old ones. Also - if you're possibly into playing Highland Square baseball you should definitlely say hello. I'm willing to talk to just about anyone as long as you're friendly. However, IF YOU ARE (in) A BAND: I will not add you unless I know someone in the band or are a band I really like. Thanks. Oh yeah, and I have a thing for redheads.
