About Me

I'm a self taught ("homeschooled") highschool senior, currently living in central Indiana and working with several art and music organizations in Muncie. Someday I hope to develop artistic or musical abilities of my own. In the meantime, I spend most of my time working, debating, and reading.
My goals:
Learn to play bass and/or piano
Build a greenhouse
Read more of my massive book collection
Plan and coordinate community events
Take SAT, ACT, and GED, and possibly attend college for speech pathology
Cover MIT OpenCourseware's courses on cognitive science
Learn Spanish and Esperanto
Learn to use Python

Travel, writing, gardening, vegetarianism, cooking,learning, neural and cognitive sciences, linguistics, reading, music, communication, event promotion,photography,lots of other stuff

Classical, local, lyrically intelligent rap,indie, folk, metal, punk, and lots of other random stuff

Movies:

I've watched tragically few, but here are the better among the ones I have seen: Tombstone, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Princess Bride, Finding Neverland, and various stuff from Mel Brooks and Tim Burton.

Television:

PBS is kind of cool.

Books:

All things Vonnegut, the classic social and political novels (Ishmael, Catcher in the Rye, The Stranger, 1984, Brave New World, etc.), and pretty much any nonfiction.

Heroes:

Kurt Vonnegut, Noam Chomsky, Diana Z., Pat Houck, Tom Petty, Dr. Seuss
