"You must aquire the trick of ignoring those who do not like you. Those who don't like you fall into two catagories - The stupid and the envious. The stupid will like you in five years time, the envious...never."
Johnny Depp - The Libertine
I like to think I'm smarter than I am, but what makes me smarter than you is that I am smart enough to admit I'm not that smart.
The most important thing in life is MUSIC. Music is life & life is music. I've been a drummer for about 17 years or so and I have no choice but to keep playing as it is all I know how to do ( other than being a certified wise-ass to all who annoy me, which is pretty much everyone walking the planet ). I graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music in September, 2006. For ten years or so prior to AIM, I've been fortunate enough to have played some pretty high-profile gigs. I've been on stage about 375 - 400 times with crowd sizes ranging from 50 to about 7500 people and everything in between. I've also shared the stage with such acts as Queens of the Stoneage, the Donnas, Vertical Horizon and many more. I'm looking foward to working musically even since the completion of my Music Education at AIM. I've worked in pro studios and recorded probably 7 or 8 times and some small projects in there as well. I've done a little metal, latin-funk, pop, fusion and alternative rock. I like to consider myself diverse. I am currently the drummer for Heaven Hill, a modern rock band from Louisville, KY.

People who know what they like and are not afraid to admit that they like it. People who stand behind the choices they make.

Music:

The list is pretty long and I'm sure I'll forget some, so here it goes. Also these are not in any specific order and this is not the entire list... Dream Theater, Motley Crue, Tommy Lee inspired me to play drums in the first place, Gene Krupa, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Miles Davis, Iron Maiden, Live, Neil Diamond, Pantera, Damageplan - RIP, Dimebag! - Slipknot, Stuck Mojo, Faster Pussycat, Skid Row and a bunch of other 80's hair metal bands as those are my roots... Kiss, Black Sabbath, Dave Matthews Band, Liquid Tension Experiment, Duke Ellington...as you can see, my scope is very broad. I have never been one to pick "favorites" so sometimes, making a list is a hard thing to do. But as you can see, my tastes are not focused on one genre because I respect all music and love certain types more than others. I am going to list a few key drummers, though... Tommy Lee, Mike Portnoy, Nikko Mcbrain, Peter Criss, Joey Jordison, Carter Beufort, Vinnie Paul, Tom Knight, Creig Herber, Simon Phillips...again, it is hard to pinpoint as I never make these kind of lists. If you really are interested hit me up and we'll chat.Oh, what should have been...

Movies:

See the problem of list-making above...having said that, I'll hit a few high points. Goodfellas, Casino, Gangs of New York, and other movies of that nature. As I stated before, I don't like "playing favorites" or making lists but I like pretty much the same as most people when it comes to movies. There are great movies...

Television:

CSI, CSI Miami, CSI New York, Without a Trace, Cold Case, and anything else by Jerry Brucheimer, Law & Order SVU, and the greatest smart-ass on the planet...House!
