About Mr. Automatic and Iconoclast Records:
Iconoclast Records was formed out of a DJ coalition in Chicago Illinois, and aims to produce music that is both compositionally interesting, and publicly accessible. The label is run by Mr. Automatic, with promotional assistance from Joe Vortech.
Mr. Automatic is also a member of The Image Front (w/Joe Vortech), and one of the original founders of Iconoclast. Currently, he works with Metropop Media, Retropop!, Boutique Sound, and Iconoclast doing events around Chicago. His current residencies include both Delilah's, The Velvet Elvis with Joe Vortech, and most of the Smash and Crunch parties.
Mr. Automatic has performed with artists including Le Castle Vania, Pase Rock, Mark Almaria, Passions, Drop the Lime, and Tycho.
Besides being a music producer, Mr. Automatic has mixed video for Funky Couture's Jeudisoir night at Victor Hotel, Ramp at Sonoteque, and currently designs visuals for the band Skybox.
He has also performed visuals for Trancid, Gene Hunt, Emulsion, Le Castle Vania, Gene Farris, Four Energy Drink, Diz, Lego, Michael Sarafini, and Mark Grant among others.
