About Me

George K.S is the mysterious and eccentric producer that works under the name Solo Projekt. He was inspired greatly by electronic music ( of many subgenres) since he was a child and has developed a strong passion for creating his own unique compositions from scratch. He was always fascinated by the most original artists of virtually any genre, especially electronic. Years of studying music by ear and playing the guitar has inspired him to develop his own original ideas that revolve around creating a distinct sound that only he can reproduce. Solo Projekt also works with many themes often dark, but always emotional in nature. In other words, Solo Projekt is what it is. You either like it, or you don't. It's music about the music and nothing more.

Influences: Royksopp, Neverending Story soundtrack, der zyklus, dopplereffekt, emotional nostalgic italian pop singers like alice visconti, Luke Eargoggle, Juan Atkins (cybotron), Broadcast, Alden Tyrell, Alexander Robotnick, Kings of Convenience, Erlend Oye, Legowelt, Laserdance, Miss Kittin, Depeche Mode, Bangkok Impact, Pluxus, Plone, Clan of Xymox, Ganymede, Fischerspooner, Kraftwerk, Freezepop, Ladytron, Ms. John Soda, Daft Punk, Felix da Housecat, Gigi D'Agostino, Squadra Blanco, Orgue Electronique, Tatu, Telex, Trancemasters, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.....this is just the stuff that influenced my electronic stylings. I probably have tons of other artists I could mention that go from trip hop to jazz to underground rock, to indie, to classic that probably seeped into my subconscious and through my songs somehow....who the hell knows. All I know is, if I hadn't gone through so much music in my lifetime, I wouldn't have the creativity that I have now and I wouldn't have the inspiration to compose music.
