I love adventures, like driving around and getting lost, or just any type of good old fasion surprise. I enjoy the outdoors, the indoors, and everything in between. I'm a sucker for museums and movies, or just shopping, as long as the quality and the company is good. If one isn't then, I tend to critizie using lots of Yiddish words, which I do anyway, so it's all good! ;-)If I'm not busy working my side job, as a Dabo Boy, then I'm out doing something. You can usually find me at most Am Tikva events. Lately I've been getting more into Folk and Contra Dancing. It's fun, I've been going to this Gender Free group, and you'd think there'd be more women than men, but there aren't.
I'd really like to meet a handsome Jewish Doctor, but I'll settle for a Lawyer too.
Seriously, a nice Jewish boy to have Shabbat dinner with would be wonderful.
Or perhaps a worthy Scrabble opponent, or a group of people to play Settlers with (and the expansion packs too, of course).
Eh, but you'll do too.
I like listening to that techno-hip-hop-house music that all us hip youngsters nowadays listen to . . . ......sure... . . . BUT I'm still addicted to listening to Madonna, Janet, Cher, Melissa, Abba, 80's music, and all the other sterotypical gay music that yo know WE ALL LISTEN TO!
Muriel's Wedding is my favorite. The Star Trek Movies are either great or crap, but I mostly love 4 (The whale one) and 8 (The Borg one). Heathers is a CLASSIC, as too is Mommy Dearest. And right now I can't think of anything else, but if I get a moment, I will come back and list more. (I'll add more like this: Back to the Future, What the Bleep Do We Know?!)
I miss Xena, that's all I have to say about that! sniff sniff I also miss the days of yore, when Star Trek aired. (Not the TOS, I wasn't around for those). These days I'm totally addicted to Doctor Who and Torchwood. Though I'll settle for most Sci-Fi shows, and the Tales of the City series I've been renting.Other shows I admire that are now or almost gone Veronica Mars, Charmed, Jake 2.0 and the Dead Zone (are they bring that back?). I watch Smallville because the character of Cloe adds something new to the plot.
"Hello Micro-Brain! Eat Any Good Books Lately?" (Ten points of you can tell me where that quote comes from.)The Lorax is my fav, and a valuable lesson to everyone out there. So to is The Death and Life of the Great American City. And of course, give me an atlas and I am thrilled for hours.
Xena of course. Madonna says there's no one to look up to, but she's shorter than me, so I'm sure she'd look up at me. Margret Cho, I can't hear "Asian Chicken Salad" on a plane and not laugh. Ummmm. . . .... Connie Chung (well not really, I'm just trying to be cute). And last, but not least, my grandparents.
