About Me

i laugh a lot, usually at myself, or at the absurdness of life. to me, real life means walking into the woods and taking a deep breath. the world is beautiful. get out there and enjoy it. try to make informed decisions about how human life impacts all the other earthlings. my main area of interest, as far as activism is concerned, is the environment; but until we can collectively pull our heads out of our huge, consumerist asses, there's no way to get a critical mass of people thinking about how we're racing toward our own extinction.my other activist hat is queerness, equal treatment for homosexuals and the liberalization of sexual attitudes in a culture with strangely victorian attitudes. nope, that doesn't mean i'm in love with the idea of gay marriage...i think "wedlock" is one of the problems not one of the solutions.
