Dubwise is a roots rock and reggae band from Jacksonville, FL. Do not be fooled by imposters.... this is the original mashup that sent soundboys running home. Their sound is heavily influenced by Dub of course, while incorporating elements of Hip hop, Breakbeat, Punk Rock, and Ragga. The lyrics are always CONSCIOUS... Dubwise feels there is no harder music than conscious music, no matter what style one chooses to play.
Dubwise exists by the goodness of Jah, for Jah gave I music, Jah gave I breath, Jah gave I the will to question. As long as there are questions, man will seek answers. As long as there is power, man will try to be God. As long as there is money, man will be greedy. As long as one is greedy, many will be poor. But remember: as long as there is Jah, there will be love. Love and music is all Ini need for happiness. Jah gave I reggae and the wisdom to use it.
