Actor/Director, writer and teacher, ROBERT-ALLAN ARNO has voiced thousands of radioTV commercials including campaigns for Seagram's, MTV, Blue Cross, Toyota and Warner Books.An instructor of media at JOHN JAY COLLEGE, NEW YORK UNIVERSITY and THE LEARNING ANNEX, his popular VOICE-ACTIONS method has been embraced by numerous successful voiceover, stage and screen artists--from Emmy winners to Broadway actors--in Master Classes and via Robert's private coaching.
Robert hosted Home-Shopping's NOW SHOP, co-hosted PBS's ACTION AUCTION and is fondly remembered by radio buffs as "Brother Bob," host of New York's trend-setting GOSPEL GOLD drive-time show.
Robert co-compiled songs and wrote the in-depth liners for BMG Heritage's THE ULTIMATE 5TH DIMENSION CD (critically acclaimed as "...the best-sounding and best-annotated anthology of The 5th Dimension...") plus recently had the pleasure of contributing special "guest liners" to the multi-Grammy winning quintet's "lost" CD, SOUL & INSPIRATION on Collector's Choice (See Blog to Order).Robert's inspirational workbook and CD, THE SOUL OF THE VOICE is slated for Fall-Winter 2008 release. In March '08, Robert was honored by MySpace's Number One neo-Soul artist, NHOJJ as the first personality to be profiled for the "Conversations with a Legend" series (see Blog for interview Transcript).
