People On Top of The Statue Of Liberty And They're

RPI's Favorite Indie-Spazz-Rock Duo

About Me

An exotic duo fused together in the cold depths of Troy, New York to drop a rocket full of loud, artful chaos on top of your measly little skull. Taking every form of music into one cohesive maelstrom that is oddly poetic and catchy People on Top of the Statue of Liberty and They're Threatening to Jump (POTOTSOLATTTJ) is poised on the edge of a cliff and is willing to push you off. With a passion, the spazz-duo wears their influences on their collective sleeves- from free jazz to down and dirty barroom brawl band. While POTOTSOLATTTJ may only consist of two individuals, they manage to keep their sound extremely full and lush using prerecorded material on their four-track and drum machines. Multi-instrumentalist, Zane Van Dusen, puts together bizarre and complex soundscapes, while lead singer/keyboardist, Jake Oliver fills in the gaps with his unique vocal style, and intense keyboard playing/maiming. POTOTSOLATTTJ has played many gigs in and around Troy, and they are ready to bring their sound to the rest of the world.
