I’m a performer and a writer. I’ve had poetry published in a variety of literary journals including Slow Trains, Seeker Magazine, Poetry Super Highway, Literary Mama (the anthology, Seal Press), Poets Against the War, The Palo Alto Times, and others. I’ve authored two poetry/art collections, Ode to the Unhinged and The People. My last show "How to be a Secret Agent Girl as Seen on American Television and in Movies" ran extensively in San Francisco, was awarded Best of the SF Fringe Festival, and was widely and well reviewed. The San Francisco Examiner called it “a highly theatrical experience with profound flashes of meaning and delight. A free wheeling mélange of sketches, songs and dances combines razor-sharp satire with stylized visual panacheâ€. I have two children's books coming out.
i need to thin mint my hot fat girlscout mind. cool it. get out. meet the neighbors. distribute my holy. wafer up your tongue. something to stick to your stuck pad. the holy keeps melting but not that glass slipper impaling my right eyeball. now hole. let’s go door to door line our loafers with the hard cash of kindness. let’s bare our unbelievably naked cheeks to the unbelievably impervious air (your face is a hoary comet roaring towards death) but oh. how we started. faces so new they were church. so lit from within they were god talking to the world in morse code. face dot forearm dash. butt dot butt dot shin dash. what’s happening. you’d think it’d be easy. i need navajo. i need sugar. maybe look for light instead of meaning. i keep getting sold on meaning. would you like one box or two.
