I’m now in my late thirties and it’s taken almost this long for me to realise I need to take action to live life on my own terms . But it’s taken 17 successful years in the NZ Defence Force. An amazing ride that sure was! A registered Real Estate agent in Australia, a successful property investor, am highly motivated in the health, fitness, nutritional and spiritual industry and have a successful online business helping others reach the same success.

The main reason I wrote this My Space profile.....

Is to tell my story. Everyone has a story right? For whatever reason you are here – are you thinking – “it’s time to control my own time , my own freedom , my own space and my own life ”? Is this all sounding familiar? Regardless of your vocation you can significantly increase your income.

I’m thinking to myself – “it’s time to control my own time , my own freedom, my own space and my own life ”? It's more and more of what people want today.

Basically you’ve had enough right? Well that was me. I’d had enough. I’m here to lead people in the same situation, thinking the same thoughts and wanting to make the same changes. I will help you discover yourself , BE yourself , help yourself , live life for yourself and get your time back. There is a way. But before I tell you how – let me share my journey of how I found myself sitting on your computer screen explaining to you – when you think there is no way out –

THERE IS A WAY!

Let’s get to know me:

SO WHO IS THIS GIRL AND WHAT SHE ALL ABOUT ANYWAY?

I am one of five children – two beautiful brothers and two gorgeous sisters. I fit into the 2 nd youngest slot of my family tree. Isn’t life’s transformations interesting? As I look behind me it seems my purpose and passion is clear – to lead and to lead well.

It’s interesting how I came to believe that everything in my life has lead me to this very point where I am today. A remarkable feeling came over me when my purpose came to mind. Please allow me to take you back in time:

An opportunity came my way when one day in 1986 a college friend and I were talking about life after school – this was our final year. She said the college Vocational Guidance Counsellor spoke to her about a vacancy in another part of NZ for employment with the City Courthouse which if she takes up the opportunity, attends the interview and is successful she will have to leave home. She didn’t want to take it. I leapt at the chance! I was excited at the possibility to become “employed”. I was successful. MyStart in Jan 1987, at 17 years old, I was employed as a courthouse assistant excited at the endless opportunities this was going to bring.

I can honestly say the adrenalin rush I had I can compare it to starting a V8 in a race and waiting for the green light to go!!!

There was something missing......

MILITARY LEADER

In 1988 I sought further challenges in the NZ Army. WOW what an experience that ride was! 17 years of learning, travelling and experiencing military life was and has taught me the power of leadership. I lead troops in different ways for different things and in different situations. Leadership is a natural way of life in the military and whether you were born to lead or not – guaranteed you walk out the leader you never thought you’d be! It’s a powerful skill to acquire for many things in life and the more leadership you are faced with the better leader you become. And I became that leader. Lead troops in countries that needed our assistance and presence. Met, observed, learned and worked with other military leaders.

CULTURAL LEADER

I’m also a Cultural leader in QLD, Australia. Maori by origin – born and raised in New Zealand I travelled across the shores to seek further opportunities. I found a Maori community who did exactly the same. In our culture when we’ve lost some-one in our family or close to us - friends and family give a donation. We call this a ‘koha’. The koha could be in the form of money, food or helping out at the home of the deceased. Groups were formed here in Australia in separate States but there wasn’t a group here in Queensland. After talking to the State co-ordinators it appeared the group concept was a wonderful way to help each other when in time of need. So I set ahead to find my people, form a group and lead it to the success it is today. I have team leaders looking after North, South, West and Eastsides. I’m always communicating with the leaders and the group and have made successful activations. This is what leadership is all about. Helping others to success.

MyLife treasures – spending that quiet moment with family. Going back in time with friends. All Sports – to see the Olympic and Commonwealth Games, the Tour De France, The Rugby Union World Cup, The Sevens Rugby, The Tri-nations Cup, Wimbledon Tennis, and all V8 Supercar races are beautiful dreams of mine. I adore travelling, visiting different countries, cultures and tasting different foods. Fine fitness, health, nutrition and centred spiritual sense are favourites in my life. Laughter is so good. I love to laugh!

I wanted control of my own time; I want to create more memories with my family by travelling and sharing what life has to offer together, I never want to have to ask “how much is it first?” or “can we afford it?” again! I want my freedom to live the life I want to live and love. I didn’t want to work to achieve other people’s dreams – I had my own dreams to achieve .

Another opportunity came to my husband and I through my first mentor – Ned Tibble – a Property Developer in Melbourne, Australia. May 2004 we travelled over to listen to his concept of wealth creation. We spent an exciting two weeks listening, discussing options and learning a bit about the “B Quad”. It was here that suddenly the entrepreneurial bug stung me. The mountain was placed in front of us so the climb started. His strategy was through investing in property.

Over the years we’d listened to, tried a lot of and got nowhere fast in a variety of different so called wealth creation ventures. Apparently all were going to make us abundant. Our thoughts were in the right place – we studied property, read the full Robert Kiyosaki’s set, listened to ample audios of wealth creation and success, watched anything to gain that bit more information on how we can create our own wealth.

WHERE IS YOUR TRUE NORTH?

We had no leader to show us the right way to do this. We were immediately in awe listening to Ned telling us about his journey and in fact he opened our eyes to what really is available to us. That our True North would lead us there. Our mind shift was exciting. It was this moment we decided to pack our bags and fly across the shores to seek new opportunities in Australia. It is here my world was introduced to the business sector. After spending 17 years in the green military machine there was still a link missing in my life. I was on a mission to find it. Since being in Australia –my entrepreneur inner core awoke with fire! I realised from my Military and Cultural leadership experiences I can utilise the same skills in business. And making money online from home on my terms, in my own space, using my energy when and as I pleased was perfect! And helping others do the same is a walk in the park.

My husband and I have twin 14 year old daughter’s. We are workers. Day in day out work in work out. That came from watching my own parents work day night, day night like they were on auto pilot. Nothing was handed to me on a silver spoon. We got to meet different people and we made ends meet – but we were always looking for that green light to start the life we really wanted to live and love.

Coming to Australia I didn’t waste time in getting work as a Sales rep in Melbourne – what an eye-opener that was after being an NZ Defence Force soldier! Sept 04 we travelled further North to Brisbane, Queensland purely because it was always the Brisbane lifestyle we were attracted to. Once again I didn’t waste any time and jumped into the Real Estate course to become registered to trade as a Real Estate agent. I thought this was a good idea. This was my way to get an inside look into buying, selling and investing in property. Do you see the pattern here – search observe and learn act!

I learned a lot in this industry however I also used a lot of my own money in advertising, telemarketers fees, distribution costs and my own time. What I made didn’t add up to what the Company made from me. Funds were S T R E T C H I N G

It was at this time that another network marketing opportunity came by. I was ready to listen and take it bit more seriously. I met some great, positive people which is always a bonus when you’re new to any industry. I went along to the meetings, got excited, started talking about the product, did a couple of presentations, went on the hunt in search for people to join me – oh yes – the calling friends and family, the organising meetings, the advertising.....

After further exploring Land Development and Seminar Management I was still yearning leadership . I believed all the changes were leading me somewhere. I just knew that my energy and actions were building me up for something BIG...but I didn’t know what. I understand that all great leaders and entrepreneurs were at some stage great listeners and learners and if you truly believe you can have anything you want in life, you are ambitious, committed to making it happen, if your desire is so strong that you are willing to listen and learn the ideas and ways of thinking then you have in your midst the keys to the greatest leaders and entrepreneurs in the world. MyLife in the Military as a soldier, in Sales American Express, Real Estate and Land Development as a sales rep, in Seminar Management assisting in organising events and in a National Operations Centre monitoring alarm systems having to wake up at ungodly hours to do the midnight hour shifts, commuting to work, organising rides with other work members, sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic, walking out the door but wishing to stay at home – day inday out so the search began – I had to find a way. I had to get direction. I had to grow with the right flow . I understand what it’s like to feel that missing link and to want more. That desire has lead me to you. The best lesson I’ve learned is leadership couldn’t be more important than anything you want in life. You must be confident with who you follow, who you listen too, who you can trust.
