By day: Corporate Monkey. By night: Dancing Fool and Eclectic Urbanite. Music is a major part of my life and dancing is my greatest joy. If a DJ (or band) can get me on the dancefloor and keep me there all night, they have gained my respect and admiration forever. All of my gratitude to Chris and Bob, my two favorite DJs.I've got a BA in English Lit and Anthropology from a state school in Massachusetts, though I spent time studying at 4 other schools to get that degree. I haven't much of a clue what I want to "do with my life" but I've got a few dreams. I always want to be learning and pursue knowledge voraciously; we'll see where that leads me, one day.I'm not ashamed to let my geek-flag fly. I am anything but ordinary and think that the world will always need more women like Dana Scully, Aeryn Sun and Temperance Brennan.

Pre-Raphaelites, world religions, dancing, Wales, Ireland, Great Britain, Canada, sparkly things, theatre, really old books, costume design, occult and/or arcane philosophies, anime, hiking, impersonating a grown up, irish music, english and scottish popular ballads, fiddles, my ipod shuffle, hosting parties, drunken karaoke, folk ballads, singing/dancing along with my mp3 player/radio/CD player/computer, culture, anthropology.
