About Kappa Psi Epsilon
Alpha Chapter
KΨE
Forming a sisterhood that promotes the Pilipino culture had been a long time dream for a group of women at California State University Long Beach. The dream turned into reality when one woman, Gayle Romasanta, took the initiative to unite these women. On March 28th, 1996 Kappa Psi Epsilon was born. Since then it has expanded to San Francisco State University, University of California Davis, and University of California Los Angeles.
Kappa Psi Epsilon came to be through one common goal and one common dream. Together, we allow our differences to educate us and our similarities to empower us. As sisters of Kappa Psi Epsilon, we all contribute to be a part of Kappa's Herstory. As individuals, we have learned what it means to resist oppression, we understand how it feels to struggle for freedom, and, above all, experience a revolution of self. This is why we invite you in making Kappa Herstory a part of YOUR story, and to come out and find your inner strength.
Come to our events and see what Kappa Psi Epsilon is all about!
