"broken promises"...is a documentary about the struggle of the Filipino World War II veterans for recognition, justice and equity for the last 59 years in the United States. After having fought alongside the US during WWII, the US government passed the Recission Act that nullified their services during the war. While the US government spends billions for war and occupation, those who fought for the principles of freedom are denied of their rights. Created by People's Media Collective 2004
