I like to think of myself as a well-grounded Christian woman. Sure there a lots of ups and downs in life – believe me I have seen my fair share – but I always turn to God and He gets me through everything. I know my 2 children are a gift from God and I believe in investing my time in them and their future. I am a prayer warrior! I thoroughly believe in the power of prayer and I help with 2 different prayer ministries associated with Stryper’s fan forum. With prayer, you can over come many obstacles and get through difficult times! I like to encourage and uplift people. Life is hard enough, we don’t need to be tearing each other down. I try very hard to be optimistic, but of course, I am not always successful. I keep trying to make this a way of life. I enjoy meeting and talking with people – I am really not the “loner†type at all! We can all learn from each other and be enlightened about so many things.
I LOVE MUSIC! Especially hard rock music with good guitar in it. I enjoy listening to music and going to concerts. Music touches people’s souls and brings them so much joy and an escape from the harsh realities of life. The ministry opportunities with music are limitless, so I try to support up and coming bands when I can (like my friends Souljourners). My favorite group is STRYPER! Not only does their music bring me a lot of joy, but I whole heartedly believe in their ministry, so I support them in whatever ways I can. Hopefully someday, I will be a writer of some sort. I’d also like to paint – scenery type stuff. It is kind of funny to want to learn a new hobby at this stage in my life, but it is something I’d like to try and find the time to do.
You never know what God has in store for each of us. I like to think of life as a journey with many interesting sites along the way and many different paths to chose from. Sometimes it isn’t so easy to find your way (the road less traveled) and sometimes there are bad storms. But, sometimes, there are sunny skies and lots of nice things along the way and of course you never know who you are going meet and travel with. Some people travel with you the whole time and others just for a short time. One thing is for sure though, God is always there to show you the way.
