FUCK YOU AND YOUR HIP HOP.

About Me

A mission statement. There's so much wrong in the world today, so let's start by doing something, write. First off I just wanted to thank all of the thinkers here on myspace that have inspired me to create this group (once again). This speck of dust in corner off myspace should be used to post up individuals poetry, art, and any other thing you do to show off your beautiful self. This group is not here to decide who is hip-hop or who's fake. This stands to be a forum to embrace all aspects of what is our youth and culture. I beg everyone to have an open mind about anything that is written here. I would like all the poems to be posted in the journal section of the page, so that anyone who would like to critique individual work may post in the "comment" section. If you are an artist and have pictures of your artwork and would like the world to see, it will be uploaded to the "group pictures". Once a week we will have spotlight artist who will be the artist/poet of the week. If you are interested to be featured on this spotlight, please send a message containing five pieces of your work along with why you should be the artist of the week.

"His optimism is also a much-needed reief from the oversaturation of irony and apathy of the media today..No More Prisons is not just a rallying cry to change the jail system. It is a plea for people to open their minds.:-William Van Meter
