The Skaflaws

Always remember the Almighty....

About Me

The Skaflaws started in Mid 2005 when 4 friends and fellow students spent their lunch periods jamming on Sublime songs in an abandoned classroom and decided play at the Aptos High "Rock 4 Peace" in June of 2005 after being a band for less than a week. Since then they have come a long way from the late summer '05 release of their 4 track demo recorded in Downtown SC to the release of their first, full length album "Vibritive Posations," which was recorded underground at UCSC. After two full years they finally graced the main stage of The Catalyst in Downtown SC and have been regulars ever since. And in true ska fashion, the list of band members continues to grow since the original four with the additions of Greg Samuels of The Strobe ..boards and Connor Braschi of the Drunken Seagulls on rhythm guitar/bass. The Skaflaws are looking to build up, brick by brick, fan by fan, a scene unlike anything you have ever expeirenced. Playing music because they want to and because it moves the people around them.
