InvadingMelody has been performing locally in Seattle as an acoustic duo and with various electric lineups since 1999. In 2005 the dynamic rhythm section from local Monroe band Broken Suitcase climbed aboard and InvadingMelody completely developed their sound. Combining Heavy Sludge Riffing with Militant Rythms this four piece lays a Foundation for Sonic Clean and Dirty Textures, then tops it off with Outlaw Vocals. The result is a new spin on the classic Seattle sound that defy limitations! In 2007 InvadingMelody recorded a full length cd, shared the stage with a variety of local acts that included Cornerstone, The Cory Wilds Band, and The Leon Hendrix Band at such well established venues as The Central, El Corazon, Studio 7 and closed out the year on the mainstage at JimmyZ's on New Years Eve.
