I am big fan of Paul Clark aka Clarky :-))
He really is an awesome guitarist (and overall a very talented musician, not only on guitars) and I just love him. I just got his cd Shredz at an Exhibition march 2007 and he has become by far my favorite musician. He's got technique and he's got passion, but most important, he's got the talent to join these two together in composing some stuff that is mindblowing good.
Clarky is no new kid on the block, his career goes way back. For example, he has been the lead guitarist in the David Cross Band for many years and still is. There is way more to tell, but hey, I just have to leave some things for the fansite dont I?? LOL
We did meet him at the RUSTY CAGE RECORDS 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL , awesome!! Did you ever meet an idol of yours? Then you know what I mean.
November 30th 2007, we went to The Black Crusade Tour (Arch Enemy, DragonForce, Trivium and Machine Head) with some friends and Clarky went with us, cause he was staying in Holland to do some radio interviews. Our friends did keep it a surprise for us and that it was indeed, so very fuckin' cool!! So check out my new pic, finally a pic of me with Clarky!! And off course check out the clips Auke-Jan made of the concert on his youtube account (see below).
In the summer of 2007 Paul Clark formed a band. There has been some changes in the line up but now the band is complete, Curse of the 9th. Clarky rewrote Satans Salad and added lyrics to the song so there was their first demo: Satans Salad II. Personally I think its a great song!! Leaves me wanting more :-))
Also that summer we came up with the idea of making a fansite for Clarky and for Curse of the 9th, so Auke and me, under supervision of ArtNoize , made the fansite . We are now officially part of The C-Team!!
At least, the fansite is online! We are so proud it has become THE official fansite for both Clarky as Curse of the 9th. I would very much appreciate a reaction of you guys about the fansite. The site is still growing but there are already some nice things to download, to read, and most important, to listen too!!
There is a "members only" section with some exclusive stuff, even more interesting for a die hard fan :-))

So, I'm here mainly to support Clarky, but I cant shut my ears for all the talent among my myspace friends. There are a couple of them I wanted to highlight, so go and check them out!!
The David Steele Band
What can I say, it was love at first hearing ;-))
He reminded me a bit of Bowie, then of Sting, then of… but he is just David Steele. I love his song Black Lantern, you just have to listen for yourself. His new album, also called Black Lantern, is due early 2008.
Non-Divine
A melodic rock/metal band wit a really cool and crazy live act. Lately they supported Queensryche and NeverMore so they’re doing well. Their songs are very energetic and makes you just wanna rock on all night!!
Sara Wendt
A beautiful voice. Listening to ‘I’m with you’ she reminded me a bit of Heather Nova. I think she has some very well composed songs and her voice is just topping them.
