About Me

Artist, Graphic Designer, Interior Designer, Architect, Photographer. Assistant Professor at SouthEast Missouri State -- always looking to make new contacts and new friends with similar interests. Interests center around art and design mostly. I run a full service marketing and design agency.
I spend a lot of time in both the city and the country a couple hours away on my weekends - 100 miles south of St. Louis. Live in the CITY. moving to CAPE (not COD) - eeeeeek!
Enjoy meeting friends for dinner, drawing, photography, - and of course hanging out in the country too. ...and working in design, architecture, and graphic arts. After a long vacation from academia, I have recently accepted a faculty position teaching design, interiors, architecture, and illustration.
The Irony about life is that you have to go IN to find OUT.
It's called PROCESS.

...........................................................
The Conditions for Creativity:
1, the ability to and enjoyment of being puzzled
2, the ability to concentrate and focus - and think in "scale" of big and small picture - and a constant awareness of the interdependence within.
3, the ability to accept conflict and tension; Stay calm and be excitable both.
4, the willingness to be born every day (courage and faith).
5, to have and feel a developed sense of self-awareness.
6, the ability to drink most of your friends under the table and still solve the worlds problems on a cocktail napkin.
...Derived in part from Erich Fromm, Creativity and Its Cultivation, 1959.
"What a strange machine man is! You fill him with bread, wine, fish, and radishes, and out comes sighs, laughter, and dreams."
