Influences: "A tight midwestern rambler sound (ala Jesus Lizard/Number None) with some metallic blues accents that belies their Portland origins. Finger-snapping skanked-out city rhythms and chiseled six-string scales setup the sassy vocal delivery that will remind of Richard Hell. Angry and aggressive with some bipolar moments, rock and roll hybrid sounds emanating from dub, black leather and a handfull of pills. Sounds Like: "Very strange indie-prog band here, whose spiritual and contextual predecessors are the player-oriented jammin'-blues bands that populated the early 70s before mass synthesizers took them over in the slow lane. They change time signatures on a dime, or even a nickel if pressed, and, except for the occasional muzz-smothered shriek, are channeling a spot-on take of a jazzbo-psych band from Amsterdam that would have practiced on a house boat shrouded in a permanent haze of cheap hash scuzz.
