Here is a bit of info on us....
Straight out of Canberra, Australia, Switch 3 emerged in late 2002. Since then weve had a great time sharing the stage with bands like CKY (USA), No Use For A Name (USA), From Autumn To Ashes (USA), The Bled (USA), The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, The Hard Ons, Bodyjar, KissChasy, Screaming Jets, and plenty of others.
In 2005 we were kept busy releasing the 'Memories Fade' EP along with an accompanying filmclip; touring Japan; blasting Perisher Blue Ski Resort during the Spring Festival; amusing Saturday Disney viewers; and playing heaps of shows.
2006 and 2007 were just as hectic but with a big focus on getting everything ready for our new full length album due in early 2008. Called Calm Before, it was recorded with ARIA Award winner Anton Hagop, the man behind the magic of countless bands including Powderfinger, Missy Higgins, Will Smith, and silverchair, and mastered by Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound in New York (AFI, AC/DC, My Chemical Romance, Atreyu, Iron Maiden). Marking a shift in focus from our earlier material, it showcases our matured sound - at one end introspective and haunting, while at the other brutal yet melodic.
