SERIAL'S NEW SHOW: "Buenos Aires FREAK Fest" (CBGB // Bartolomé Mitr 1552, Cap. Fed. ARG)SERIAL 2008Biography After being part of FREAK Matt, Dave & Andrew joined Diego [GENETICA'S lead singer] to formed SERIAL at the beginning of 2007. As soon as they started with the rehearsals all the ideas come alive and the songs just came out one bye one with powerful guitars and rich vocal melodies mixed it up with a lot of different colors in the songs through the drum parts, harmonized guitars and bass lines. In February of 2007 they started with the pre-production of their first album. During that month they recorded all the basses, and then between September and December of 2007 they recorded all the songs under the production of Fabian Abdala & Matt Pfund at ABD Records Studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their first album called Rising will go out the 9th of July of 2008. This album as louder as any other major band will be promote by some webzines, fanzines and friends around South America and Europe, in fact the band will distribute some albums overseas and work in order to be part of some fanzines albums this year. The songs that are going to be use as radio cuts are It's not fair, Rising, Let me breathe and Now it's time. Moreover, you can hear these songs through our web. Unfortunately Dave & Andrew are no longer part of Serial anymore since October of 2007; Dave joined & created 23 Otoños, a great Emo/metal band in Argentina and Andrew wasn't felling so good playing with the rest of the band anymore. Nowadays SERIAL is working with two new members. Further more, these guys have a long trajectory and played several times during the last 10 years with a lot of bands. Chowy (one of the best underground's guitar players) is also playing with PRONOIA & DEMONSFLESH and worked with WHODWELLSWITHIN a while. FER (a great Bass player) worked with some bands in Comodoro Rivadavia, where he is from. They understood the message of the band and they are working as hard as they can to give the best of them in the future shows. People from all over the world are visiting our website and we have contact them. Moreover there are some radios and webzines from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Canada, England, Sweden, Spain, Italy and Germany interesting in our music. Right now a new proposal from a record label from Germany is leading SERIAL to another step. Now they only need you to follow them into this new beginning...
Biografia (español) Después de haber formado parte de FREAK Matt, Dave & Andrew se juntaron con Diego (cantante y líder de GENETICA) para formar SERIAL a principios del año 2007. Ni bien empezaron a ensayar las ideas iban tomando forma y las canciones fueron saliendo una tras otra con guitarras muy poderosas junto con unas melodías vocales muy interesantes mezcladas con diferentes colores dados por la batería, las guitarras armonizadas y las líneas de bajo. En el mes de Febrero del 2007 comenzaron con la pre-producción de su primer disco. Durante ese mes grabaron todas las bases y durante los meses de Septiembre y Diciembre grabaron todos los temas bajo la producción de Fabián Abdala y Matt Pfund en los estudios ABD Records en Buenos Aires, Argentina. El primer disco llamado Rising va a salir el 9 de Julio de 2008. Este disco, igual de fuerte q cualquiera banda ya consagrada va a ser promocionado por algunos webzines, fanzines y por amigos alrededor de sud América y Europa, de hecho la banda va a distribuir algunos discos en el viejo continente y trabaja para poder formar parte de algunos discos de fanzines este año. Las canciones q van a ser utilizadas como cortes radiales son are It’s not fair, Rising, Let me breathe y Now it’s time. De hecho pueden escucharlas a través de nuestra página web. Lamentablemente Dave & Andrew no forman más parte de Serial desde Octubre del 2007, Dave se unió y creo 23 Otoños, una muy buena banda EMO/Metal argentina y Andrew ya no se sentía muy cómodo con el resto de la banda. Hoy por hoy SERIAL esta trabajando con 2 nuevo integrantes. De hecho, estos chicos tienen una larga trayectoria y tocaron muchísimas veces durante los últimos 10 años con muchas bandas. Chowy (uno de los mejores guitarritas del underground) esta también tocando junto a PRONOIA & DEMONSFLESH y trabajo con WHODWELLSWITHIN un tiempo. FER (un excelente bajista) trabajó con algunas bandas de Comodoro Rivadavia, de donde el proviene. Ellos entendieron el mensaje de la banda y están trabajando lo mas duro posible para dar lo mejor en los futuros shows. Gente de todo el mundo esta visitando nuestra pagina web y nosotros los contactamos. Es más, hay radios y webzines de Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Brasil, Canadá, Inglaterra, Suecia, España, Italia y Alemania interesados en nuestra música.
