Jon1st of Lions and Tigers and Snares is a surrey based turntablist,dj, producer and musician influenced by a variety of styles such as hiphop, electronica, post rock and downtempo. Jon is currently working on a number of projects including collaborations with fellow beathead Button Basher and doing scratches for French emcee Kensh and producer Hypno. I've uploaded a track from my recent live set with Eddie Bryan and Button Basher that we played at Bacchus Club in Kingston at Braille Hiphop Adventures.The track features me on turntables and mpc, Eddie on drums and Button Basher on synth and mpc. Working With Kensh and Hypno

The last couple of weeks I've have the pleasure of recording cuts for Kensh and Hypno's new album and just finished my last scratch chorus today. The vocals and cuts are getting mastered this week. I'll give you a lot more info about release dates etc and album info when I know. You'll hear it here first! In the meantime here's a video for one of the tracks that's going to be on the record (this version doesn't have my cuts on it, so you'll have to check the album version out too). Peace
